Marvel Comics has officially announced ( via Comic Book Resources), a comic book adaption for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This adaption will run for five-issue, and it will be written by Chuck Wendig (Star Wars: Aftermath), and the art will be done by Luke Ross (Hercules #1). Editor Jordan D. White said the following on the announcement. "'The Force Awakens' knocked our socks off from the very first time we saw it, and we could not wait to start being able to play with these new, awesome characters!" He then added, "Now, we get to bring all of them to the pages of our comics with an adaptation of the film we loved so much! We’re all fans first, so it’s all love that is bringing these pages to life!"

I think Finn and Poe have too much detail, they look really old compared to Rey.

@DeusExSponge - They made the men look chiseled but too much so. They remind of me of this:

i remember when i was a kid, getting the comic adapts of batman begins, daredevil, hulk, and some of them would include deleted or extended scenes. now i think comics should only be used to fill in the gaps rather than reiterate the damn movie.
