Just got some interesting news on what MCG and gang are brewing up for Terminator 5.

Will MCG bring Bale back into the failed circle that was The Reign of Fire? The trades are reporting:

...the sequel to Terminator: Salvation, will be set in London in the year 2011, with a time-traveling John Connor (Christian Bale).

A post apocalyptic London would be cool to see on the big screen. To watch Big Ben take a fall if done right would be epic. Hopefully this time Bale will put some more into his performance and the director wont have fighting sequences that drop off and don't explain the gaps between scenes.

I liked T4, there were some obvious flaws but overall I like it. This is news guys, this is what MCG and crew are brewing up for Terminator 5. Like all sequels the studio has to fix what was wrong with the previous entry. Those jabs you are talking about is what I think they need to fix.

Oh great here we go again. And of course it will be hamburgler or McG or whatever his name is trying to save the franchise from the studio who owns the rights to it. The actual story that metalhead gave us about the struggle between McG, Bale and evil film studio was actually more compelling than the piss poor attempt and utter failure that T4 turned out to be.

haha, your a fruitcake Leee you know that? T4 was pretty good, aside from its many flaws. I saw it again recently and enjoyed it more 2nd time around.

T5 in London? Cool! Lets see if those soldiers outside the palace get out of Lord Bales way when he threatens to thrash their Queen

a time traveling john connor can work out to be awesome or really dumb. time will tell. but its for sure that T5 will be made?

and LEEE, terminator 3 wouldve been way better and much easier to sit through if the T-x looked like that the whole time

the first two have always been the best, and always will be. i kina liked three, yet the tv series was better. then after hearing the fourth movie was going to be directed by this guy, and never knowing who he was; yet seeing his films. yeah this guy is nothing but a [frick] up.

he had too many spoilers in the trailers, so really the movie was already ruined. if adding new people you gotta go to the story, and i kept hearing and seeing nothing but an action movie.

LAME!!!!!!!!! Stick with the future war no more damn time traveling. I want to see terminators walk the field of skulls and humnas fighting for survival. McG gonna screw it up, he did a decent job with Salvation but the script was lame as hell. No more time trveling...whos with me!!!!

I went and saw Terminator: Salvation today and thought that it was pretty good! The action scenes and CGI were exciting and looked great...the story was ok-to me the end of the film wrapped up a bit too quick but it set things up nicely for the sequels-cant wait for T5!!!

I have always thought that this movie should have been about everything that happened between Judgment Day and the moment that Kyle Reese got sent back in time to the beginning of the first Terminator film.

By the way ROR that youtube video is priceless I hope that Bale and McG get to see it. I hope they understand that after all the CGI, fancy cammera work and expensive sets are done that some guy was able to pull off all of thier BS Dialog by himself and in his basement.

I don't think it will happen...when you factor in the $200 MILLION price tag with the fact that it didn't open at #1, AND it's already out of the top 5...being beaten by Trek which had a much bigger chore since it's predecessor wasn't as well liked by ANY means.

@ kratos-I dunno man, I loved the second one and didn't even MIND the third one, the first one I thought was OKAY, and this last one would have been a good straight-to-dvd movie. Connor was a letdown. A lot of tv critics said that the TV show was pretty good tho.
