Principal photography is near ending for Marc Webb's much-anticipated reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man. And for the past few days, we've been seeing the leading stars Andrew Garfield & Emma Stone in several set images, filming these minor scenes. Well, courtesy of Celebrity-Gossip, we have more now depicting of 'Gwen Stacy' having "shotgun" in a police car, as well 'Peter Parker' showing off his alternate transportation, sans web-swinging.

The Amazing Spider-Man focuses more on Peter Parker’s high school days and the development of his powers while navigating the troubles of a brainy geek in high school. Peter drove a moped and sporting a funny looking helmet in the last spidey movies, so I can't really see why people are having a hard time with him having a skateboard during his high school years?

@TheIntruder- i usually agree with you but not on this. This movie is looking meh. And no, most nerds don't skate (not the nerds i knew). And strictly from a superficial standpoint, Garfield doesn't look like a nerd to me.

@TheIntruder- i still don't agree with that. Most of the geeks and nerds were more like Eisenbergs character in the Social Network (not saying he should play Parker... thatd be wierd). Thats pretty much all i hung out with were the nerds. And its looking meh because its not being done by marvel. Oooh a spiderman movie... that has nothing to do with the rest of the marvel universe... huh. Its just a greedy cash grab by sony. I didn't want spiderman 4 (which btw @Jazz, the reason spiderman four was sounding awful was because the studio was changing things on raimi... everyone knows this already. its why he left). I want a spiderman movie made by marvel studios. Anything less is inferior IMO.

hey people! dont start hating on the skateboard! this is a 2012 realesed movie. he's suppose to be modern! its way better than that stupid skooter bike thing. It could be Peter's transportation. He probably doesn't do tricks on it, but he just rides it place to place. DON'T WORRY He'LL STILL BE A GEEK!
