SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Official Trailer Contains Major ENDGAME Spoilers & Introduces The Marvel Multiverse

The new official trailer for Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Far From Home is finally here, and yes, it contains MAJOR spoilers for Avengers: Endgame and also appears to introduce the Marvel multiverse?!

After months of speculation, it appears that Marvel and Sony's Spider-Man: Far From Home will indeed take place immediately after the events of Avengers: Endgame, as the newly-released official trailer shows Peter Parker (Tom Holland), Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau), and the entire world mourning the death of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), who, of course, made the ultimate sacrifice in the Russo Brothers-directed Marvel epic.

With Spidey's space adventures now over, he'll be taking some much-needed time off and heading to Italy on vacation. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse when the mysterious Elementals show up to wreak all kinds of destruction on the European continent. In an effort to stop them, he'll be recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and subsequently partnered with the equally mysterious Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), who claims to be from a different world and is apparently an expert on the Elementals.

The trailer also contains one more big reveal as it appears that MJ (Zendaya) has deduced Peter's big secret, which isn't all that surprising considering how poor of a job he's done concealing it thus far - although it could just be a misdirect.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man must step up to take on new threats in a world that has changed forever.

Man I wish Stan Lee was here to see this.

Mysterio looks dead on perfect. He would have loved this.

@IronMandarin - Oh he looks perfect, but Idk about his back story. Maybe they are borrowing from the Spider-Verse premise where the Snap substitutes for the hadron collider in creating a bridge between dimensions. Or maybe Mysterio is full of shit and hiding his true origin.

@Equivocal - Unless his contract is renegotiated, Spider-Man 3 will be his last appearance in the MCU. This is assuming he doesn't make an appearance in any other films the way he did in Captain America 3.

@Argetlam22 - For me this is the classic villain backstory of:

I tell you i am a "good guy" from another earth trying to stop this things, when instead i see myself like the good guy of the story, doing the right thing, when instead i am the bad guy, who has a world ending plan related to this creatures and their powers.
