Last year,
Bridesmaids was a bigger hit than anyone could have possibly imagined, receiving almost unanimous critical acclaim and becoming a hit at the box office after opening up at a strong #2 behind
THOR. The film was directed by Paul Feig, who let slip a very interesting piece of information while talking to
Vulture at the Tribeca Film Festival on Sunday.
"I'm looking forward to The Amazing Spider-Man," he said, adding that he's such a good friend of director Marc Webb, he actually ended up making a contribution to the film's script.
"He's a great guy, he invited me on set, and I did a little bit of writing for that movie, for one of the high school scenes, so I'm excited." What do you guys think? Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.
