Sony Pictures' CineEurope presentation is scheduled for 11AM EST today, and there's a lot of speculation that the first teaser trailer for Kraven the Hunter (as well as a first glimpse of Madame Web) could be unveiled.
Adding fuel to the first is the debut of two new images from the movie. Though we're not sure how "official" these are (they look more like leaked screenshots), the stills give us another glimpse of Aaron Taylor Johnson as Sergei Kravinoff engaged in what appears to be a pretty intense conversation, and taking aim at a lion.
Last week, another image leaked featuring Kraven in a version of his signature costume (more here).
We're not sure if the first trailer will be the same as the one that screened at CinemaCon back in April, but that showed Kraven facing-off against a caravan of poachers, who he makes quick - and very violent - work of. We also got a glimpse of Russell Crowe as the Russian father of Taylor-Johnson’s Sergei Kravinoff, and right at the end, it's revealed that a new take on Spider-Man villain the Rhino will be introduced in the movie.
Alessandro Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) is playing the character, though all we see of him in Rhino mode is the skin on his arm starting to transform into thick hide as he says, "don't you want to know why they call me the Rhino?"
You can check out the Rhino screenshots below.
J. C. Chandor directs Kraven, which has a release date of October 6 and also stars Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, and Christopher Abbott.
