The actual pic is a bit dark, so I have lightened it up in Photoshop so it shows up more detail...

This pic of Pic of Andrew Garfield in Spider-Man Costume has started to appear in various places. The suit looks a bit battle damaged - suspiciously like the results of a run in with something big and scaly with sharp teeth, claws and a tail?

I don't know why but it feels like they might have drawn some inspiration from spidey 2099, I like it though, it could have been better but Its a fresh take and I like that

I like it very much... I think it was the way to go to be set apart from Sam Raimi's but still be recognized as Spidy

this looks badass! it needs the red around his waist too. but oh well no big deal!
the only problem is that the symbol looks too much like the old spiderman trilogy

I love it...
again like others said... it sets it apart from the first 3.

I love the intricate design...and i had my doubts on the the suit... althought neither suit looks like something a high school kid could make lol.

it's a reboot, that's why it's a whole bunch of new ideas and details are thrown into the costume. Also, a costume are designed to adjust the body figure and gesture. I guess our new spider guy here has a slim long body, that's why the main pattern and lines even the logo in his new costume tend to be vertical based. I never agree the idea of a quick reboot like this but the 2nd Spiderman is the only one I like either. Andrew's body suits more, I can imagine he is no muscle man but very agile (and taller than Tobey) I'm sure he lost his belt in a fight and he is looking down for it in the street haha...looking forward for this, I hope the villains also well designed. Plz no talking person inside a robo costume.

For those who think they hate this costume, go [frick] yourself and get off of the Spiderman page because obviously you guys love to just pour criticism all over Marc Webb's Spiderman Reboot. In my opinion this costume looks very cool and it's different from the other movies, which is a good thing. Stop whining over the fact of the costume not having the front belt part and being perfect. This costume looks like it was made by a teenager. A first costume isnt always going to look spectacular and that makes more sense. Besides, theres a good chance this costume is a prototype and probably they change it up in the film or in future films. The addition of the webshooter is ok. Im 50/50 on it but as long they arent too noticable in every fight scene Spiderman's in, i wont have an issue with that. Bottomline, this is very good costume and Andrew Garfield looks perfect. All i have to see is the mask and im hoping its good

Come on man don't be so mean, coz I don't like it hahaha. I'm a fan of the classic look. Sure it's not that bad, but what I like about the last series is that they made it exactly like the classic costume while still looking good on film. I was hoping they will still do that but with different materials. No reason they can't do it but still looks like it can be done by a teenager.

Yeah, but probably is not the final costume in the movie, doubt it though, because it's too rendered already.

He looks like he got in a fight, and probably just lost the belt, hopefully.

Looks like he had a belt or something. It's darker where the belt would be, you can see the shape of it. Also, there is a bit of red showing from his back where the belt would be...

i believe if you look closely at his right arm you can see a little bit of where the red from his shoulders continues down his arm.
@xblaze- nice catch!
