Marc Webb Weighs In On SPIDER-WOMAN Appearing In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN
It's widely believed that Marvel don't hold the rights to Spider-Woman, leading many to wonder why she hasn't appeared in either Sam Raimi or Marc Webb's Spider-Man movies, especially now that a number of spin-offs are in the works. Would Webb be interesting in introducing her? Find out here...
In a recent interview with E! Online, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 director Marc Webb was asked if he has any plans to introduce Spider-Woman (a character who have become more prominent in recent years thanks to her role in The Avengers and Marvel's "Ultimate" line of comic books) now that Sony are expanding the iconic Marvel character's cinematic universe. "Anything is possible, but that hasn't been on my mind," he told the site, "but it's an interesting idea." Unfortunately, as it's likely that the third instalment in The Amazing Spider-Man has already been at least provisionally planned out, the fact that Webb hasn't even considered introducing Jessica Drew is troubling for fans of the character to say the least. Could this "interesting idea" change his mind?
