MORBIUS, THE LIVING VAMPIRE: Jared Leto Marks The Start Of Shooting With Cryptic Instagram Post

While only a few cast members have been revealed, Jared Leto has now confirmed that production has started on Morbius, The Living Vampire with a cryptic Instagram post. Check it out after the jump...

It appears as if a first look at Morbius, the Living Vampire is right around the corner as Jared Leto has arrived in London and confirmed that shooting is about to begin.

There's a chance that the actor will just look like his usual self (albeit with some vampire teeth) in the movie, so it's hard to say how much set photos will reveal. Despite that, it's definitely going to be exciting to see this character brought to life on the big screen and it's easy to imagine Leto teasing fans as he did with The Joker back when he was working on Suicide Squad

Only three cast members have been revealed so far. Along with Leto, we'll see Matt Smith as the movie's villain and Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft.

Directed by Daniel Espinosa (Life) from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama (Lost in Space), Morbius, the Living Vampire is set to be released on July 31st, 2020. Are you excited to check this one out? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section down below.

Damn, look at him really committing to the character right there. Splendid work.

Let me know when he starts biting his fellow co-stars and/or sending them viles of blood.

@Spock0Clock - preach on, Leto taking it to the HNL to instill confidence in his portrayal lmfao.

@knocturnalzen10- maybe he figures that if there is talk about how disturbing he is going into the movie's release, that will get more butts in seats.

@HeavyMetal4Life - The way he chews his gum is SO Morbius. MORBIUS THE MASTICATING VAMPIRE was the original title of the comic, after all. They had to change it because parents thought it was a dirty word.

If the villain is anything to go by, this will probably be Venom all over again but with vampires instead of symbiotes. Why doesn't Sony just give up on live-action with all of acclaim Spiderverse is rightfully getting?

@MCUKnight11 - especially after venom's confusing success i don't think they plan on stopping anytime soon :(

I can't believe they're moving forward with this.

Eh, what do I know? Maybe it'll be good. Leto's a good actor. I just don't trust SONY, one bit.
