We’ve always known that Spider-Man’s most important battle has been within himself: the struggle between the ordinary obligations of Peter Parker and the extraordinary responsibilities of Spider-Man. But in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Peter Parker finds that a greater conflict lies ahead.
It’s great to be Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield). For Peter Parker, there’s no feeling quite like swinging between skyscrapers, embracing being the hero, and spending time with Gwen (Emma Stone). But being Spider-Man comes at a price: only Spider-Man can protect his fellow New Yorkers from the formidable villains that threaten the city. With the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx), Peter must confront a foe far more powerful than he. And as his old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, Peter comes to realize that all of his enemies have one thing in common: OsCorp.
Directed by Marc Webb, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is scheduled for release on May 2, 2014!

Welcome to CBM, dcnoob122!

I think I'm more excited about Emma Stone than I am for any other part of this movie haha. And that's not a diss on anything else about the movie. Emma Stone is an incredible actress and she's gorgeous.

I'm still not sure about the over-the-top look of Max, hope it works...

We haven't seen nearly enough footage yet but I'm pretty split on Max. If it turns out the way the last trailer made it seem, it'll be the most cliche' origin for a villain. Painfully cheesy. Loser average Joe idolizes superhero, bumps into superhero and thinks he made an impact on him, becomes horribly disfigured, runs into superhero again, and realizes he was completely forgotten. It's not very original or compelling whatsoever.

It makes for a sympathetic villain, sure. But it's just not my cup of tea. I sincerely hope I'm proven wrong!

Remember kids, it's okay to kill people if they don't like you or forget your name.

It's also okay to take iconic villains and make them look nothing like their comic book counterparts.
