The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Trying to be excited for this, but the lizard makes it hard to take seriously. Not too many shots like yesterday or the movie will be an unintentional comedy.

I'm looking forward to this movie. Lizard maybe should have a little longer snout, but that won't effect how I view the movie after I see it.

There is no pleasing idiots. Lizard looks like he did in his first appearance but people complain. Then they complain that Spiderman's costume is too different. So an original Lizard look is a problem and a variation, however minor, of Spiderman's costume has been complained about since the first image arrived. The costume is Spiderman, it's not like it's green and orange, it's just a little different look. Again, there is no pleasing idiots.

Lizard feels like a very uninspiring lead villain. I'll wait obviously to render a verdict but I can't help but think a villain like Kraven or Mysterio wouldn't have been a better start, following with one of the Goblins in the 2nd film and ending with a Sinister Six finale.

I THINK THEY DID A GOOD JOB WITH IT, THERES ALWAYS JUDGMENT ON LOOKS, THERES AN EXPECTATION..BUT THERES ACTORS THE DIRECTOR DIDNT WANNA POUR A BUNCH OF CGI SNOUT AND TEETH MONSTER HE WANTED INTERACTION..I'LL PASS JUDGMENT AFTER I SEE IT IN ITS ENTIRETY..ITS DIFFERENT..

hipster is like the ultimate sheep for this movie , its almost comical as he sees this movie perfect in everyway with even seeing it yet lol

I agree that he should have a longer snout, looks like he is unintentionally smiling, doesn't look right to me. I'm sure it will be fine and that I'll dig the movie.

Yep, this movie is going to be bad ass.

I'm loving Lizard's look more, and always was a fan of Spidey's costume and overall look.

- iguanas have snouts, nobody expects lizard to look like a crocadile , but they doo expect hi mto look like a [frick]ing lizard! and not a nake lizard humanoid

i have no problem with the ditko design but even then he should of had sharper teeth to compensate.

- also who said lizard was sposed to be that big cuase hes not the damn hulk , and with those numbs you call teeth in his mouth he looks like he would gnaw spidey to death thats about it .


i hate when over hyped people cant see what looks like shit n what doesnt , same goes for tdkr fans


and before the idiots coming in here saying omg the looks dont matter
