In the picture above you can see Peter examining his father's briefcase. Inside is a badge from Oscorp and a photograph of what appears to be Richard Parker in a lab coat. This would imply he worked for Oscorp as a scientist. It's also possible that he and his wife are on the run from Oscorp at the beginning of the trailer.
Here we see Peter stitching his suit although it can't be seen from this angle. In the background is a wanted poster of Uncle Ben's killer. From what we can tell the shooter got away and is still at large.
Cut to a scene of Dr. Curt Connors. You can see that his right arm isn't completely missing. Either he is in the process of growing it back or he already had that part of his arm intact. The machine he's approaching closely resembles the neogenic recombinator which in the comics transformed Dr. Connors into The Lizard. On the left glass panel you can read the words, "Bioreaction Mix Facility - Chemical And Bio Fusion Growth Strata."
