Definitely one of the better scenes in the movie though. It was scored very well.

I love hearing an audience get into a movie and cheer, laugh, or applaud. My showing of The Amazing Spider-Man had cheering during this scene, and it just made the chills I got stronger. The Avengers had cheering almost the entire film, and it really made it a fun theater-going experience. An audience really participating actively in enjoying a movie makes it more fun for me. You're in a massive, dark room with scores of people sitting around you. It's much better than just awkwardly sitting next to each other. You might as well have fun with it.

i hated that scene so much!!! one of the cheesiest parts of the movie its far from amazing everyone at the movie theater was laughing at that pointless scene. he got shot for no damn reason at all lol if you havnt seen the movie yet just watch the trailers n clips thats the whole movie wraped up in 15 mins.

My audience was really into the entire movie both times that I saw it.

Love that scene, better than any of the swinging sequences in Raimi's feel. Which are objectively inferior to this film. Only comparable one is Spider-Man 2, and that's a sequel, so this movies sequel can only be better.

This was the most memorable scene it was scored so well and it was when we saw Spidey shine and show his heroism. My theater was into this movie a lot the laughed and some lady started crying when Stacy died. Spideys gonna kick ass in 2014! Bring it on Cap!

Yea best Spidey film but raimis films will ALWAYS no matter how bad it seems now, I will always hold those films SO close to my heart they ate what got me into this mess:) I love those films and I will never forget my first spiderman movie, never its the highlight of my childhood.

Nobody at my theater cheered. In fact, I remember rolling my eyes when this scene came. While the score is nice, it's still a pretty cheesy scene.
