Everything we've heard about Jared Leto on the set of Suicide Squad sounds seriously f***ed up, and the actor has now shared yet another photo which presumably comes from when he was shooting the David Ayer helmed release. While it obviously doesn't show us anything we haven't already seen at this stage (the days of those glimpses of green hair being a big deal are long gone), it's still a cool shot.

The first UK press screening for Suicide Squad takes place next Thursday, and if US critics are also going to have to wait that long, it could be a while until we get any reviews. Is Warner Bros. ensuring that nothing gets spoiled or just nervous that it will receive a similar mauling to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Time will tell, but box office tracking continues to point to the film being a huge hit...

It feels good to be bad…Assemble a team of the world’s most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government’s disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren’t picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it’s every man for himself?

Starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje Viola Davis, and Ben Affleck, Suicide Squad is set to be released on August 5th, 2016. Are you looking forward to the movie? As always, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

@Spider2YBanana

I don't know the last time WB lifted an embargo super early. Mad Max Fury Road was lifted a day or two early. TDK series usually didn't lift until the Thursday premeire's. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

@Spider2YBanana - I think WB is always running a greater risk...for better or worse they get inbetween the audience and the source material.

And what gets in the way? Artistic Interpritation of that material.

Marvel doesn't get in the way as much or interpret too far outside what is from the page. IMO.

So it really comes down to TASTE of artistic Interpritation. WB not only has to please with story but they place that extra hurdle.

Lets be honest, if i see that image, ignoring this is Jared Leto and our next cinematic Joker, i think i would say what a lame Joker cosplay. Sorry, not his best photo.

I think he'll do a great job, though! Can't wait
