SYNOPSIS: In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone's imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question - Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha and Jonathan Kent, Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as "Superman," not only to shine as the world's last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

It looks pretty sweet. Is it wrong that I like the MoS logo better than the original logo?

As a graphic designer, that top right corner of the shield pisses me off. whoever designed it should be stripped of their mac book pro.

The poster looks nice though.

That's pretty cool. I can see that being official. Except for that: " You'll believe a man can fly." part. That just sounds dumb.

The "You'll believe a man can fly" tag line is from the Donner universe anyways. The poster is incredible but the tag line wouldn't fly (so to speak.)

Make the tagline "more than meets the eye"

or

"With Great Power comes Great responsibility."

lol that's a great poster. just change the tagline.

Actually, I don't think that a film of this magnitude needs a tag line at all. The title of the film is its own tag line. Man of Steel. It doesn't get more catchy than that.

As much as I feel the MoS costume misses the mark - being ashamed of being a comicbook movie and all - I love the Earth-2 inpired emblem.

Nice work!

Meeh, it's okay. Should've made the 2013 yellow or just stuck with the white typeface. That red gets lost in the blue behind it - almost like the DCnU Superman costume! lol

LMAO @Mercenary: I would fight to the death with anyone who tries to take my MacBook Pro. It's my baby! <3 But I see what your saying. As an art student that had to take some digital art classes in high school - I see a lot of problems with this poster as well.

@DeadPOoly01 - That poster is so frinkin awesome. Did you make it? I love batman's costume on it.

@ crimsoncrusader

The Man of Steel logo is a take off an older Superman logo.
Here are some examples...

DeadPOoly01- That shit is the business!!! I accept the new Superman costume, but I like yours a LOT more. Great pic. As far as the reason we came here- Preeetttyyyy... Lose the tagline...
LP4
LP4 - 9/3/2011, 7:53 PM
@Bastard- I agree with you man. I like the way the poster looks but that [frick]ing tagline. WTF???

Why the fu*k people just wanna cling to donner's underbelly all the time is beyond me. Donner is gone people, time to [frick]ing move on. If you don't wanna move on like the rest of us- big deal, more room in the theater for those who actually want a GOOD Superman movie for once.

Superman Returns PROVED that the Donner formula is weak-sauce for today's MODERN audience. Daniele should change that tagline.

Looks official. Fan stuff usually looks like shit. Better tag line would have made it perfect.

Still awesome.
