Jim Lee Has Seen MAN OF STEEL And Approves Of It!

While promoting Free Comics Day, DC Superstar Artist Jim Lee spoke to CBS and Fox News about Man Of Steel, says it brought him to tears!

As one of the top Creative Executives at DC Comics, Jim Lee naturally got to see Man Of Steel early and in the vids below, he briefly shared some reaction thoughts to CBS and Fox News. We also have a transcript to read in case you're on your mobile and the vid doesn't load. He also talks about Superman Unchained.

Its epic. It's got a lot of heart. But one things that was missing from the last Superman movie was the action and this movie has it in spades. It is a visual thrill ride. It is amazing. You get to see all the powers of Superman in all its glory and I think people are going to blown away.

Henry is awesome in the movie. He is very different form Brandon and Christopher. He's a man's man, very virile and very yoked (jacked), believable, very brooding, at the same time it's a real fresh take on Superman.

The special effects are way over the top I mean you are going to see superpowers that you've never seen before, depicted on the screen in the ways that you would have never imagined. So it's really exciting.

It's an amazing re-imagining of Superman. There's stuff in there that you have never seen in a Superman movie before. Special effects are incredible but it's got a lot of heart. It brought me to tears actually, a couple of times in the movie and that doesn't happen a lot.

Well, Jim can't honestly say it sucks...

But Jim has always been a Batman guy, if he was actually moved by this movie, I can't imagine how much I'd cry watching it.

Given Jim Lee's position at DC,there is no way in hell he would say anything negative about Man Of Steel movie.

Having said that,Jim Lee is a real professional both creatively & in business,he has always seemed up front & honest to me in the past.

I believe his opinions on the film & hope \ S / what he saw turns out to be correct.
Man Of Steel may be the best comic book movie ever.

@ theSHOCKER

that's like a joke i heard years ago......

superman is flying about metropolis one day & he looks down & he sees wonder woman laying down on a roof top with her knickers around her ankles, legs a kimbo moaning & groaning.

superman thinks to himself,"i could fly down there with my super speed give her one,fly away she wouldn't know what hit her".

so he does it,swoops down pounds away really fast then fly's off.

wonder woman is like "what was that-what was that".

& the invisible man says "i don't know but i've got a sore arse".

Where did it say that the film brought him to tears? I watched both clips waiting for it and it wasn't there. -_-

They say Reeve won the best Superman face off, but all Jim Lee was doing was praising Cavill...

It's time to put away the nostalgia and look at this film with a clear mind. Cavill will be the best Superman to date. Mark my words.

I'm Jim Lee says its good I can't wait. Hes my favorite artist (from hus X-Men days). I've been holding back excitement as I didn't expect much from MOS after TDKR and IM3 were sort of let downs, but I hope this is great (because I have low expectations for The Wolverine too).
