Hello, fellow CBMers!
I was browsing the internet and came across this update on Lindsay Lohan...it seems that even IF she is able to dodge the "jail-bullet" she may be starring in something... but definitely NOT Superman.
"Lindsay Lohan has been tapped to star in her first post-rehab movie and shooting could begin as early as this summer - that is, if she can stay out of jail. The flick is called Escaping the Game and will be filmed in the U.S. and Spain.
Movie contracts have not yet been signed, but producer Nathan Folks is optimistic that Lohan will not be going to jail and that they can get the deal done in the coming weeks. "She wants to do it," said Folks, who's apparently a good friend of Lohan's (a friendship which perhaps played into Lindsay Lohan nabbing the role).
As for her co-star, it looks like the hunky Chris Zylka may be on the roster. Zylka is also one of the stars of the upcoming movie, The Amazing Spider-Man. And, it seems as if he and Lohan have already hit it off, going out to a club and Ferras concert together. Lindsay Lohan even Tweeted, "Went to see my friend Ferras perform and was talking to a future costar."
UPDATE:
"London, Feb 22 (IANS) After her rehab stint, actress Lindsay Lohan has reportedly signed on to take a lead role in 'Escaping The Game' about celebrities unable to handle fame.
The film focuses on celebrities who can't handle the pressures of fame and escape to create a new life for themselves on a remote island. Lindsay will play a private investigator tracking their disappearances, reports contactmusic.com.
'It's about celebs who become very famous and can't take it. She wants to do it,' said Nathan Folks, producer of the film.
Folks reveals he is confident Lindsay will be able to take on the role.
'We can get her insured if she is with someone who is keeping an eye on her 24X7. Lindsay and I've discussed it and she's already agreed to the condition. She's doing great and we're going to prove to the world that she's back,' he added.
The film will be shot in Spain and the US in summer"

Well...her being "excited" to do the film sounds a lot like how she was supposedly "excited" to do the Superman reboot...I'm thinking THIS was always gonna be the film she went for but either sources mixed it up with the Superman movie, or they just wanted to scare us fanboys!
I think it is safe to say...she won't be in the Superman reboot. Post your thoughts below...
