why this suit now? its still gay. just go with the way he's suppose to look: cape, with the slicked curly "S" hang'n in front hair do.

I know people are going to complain about this but remember he lost the suit Jor-El put it on lockdown so there is a reason it is not the traditional suit yet.

oK whats the point of revealing this now?
That being said... I want that jacket!

That looks...extremely gay.
Why is Smallville taking themselves so seriously with a newer and worse looking attire? With that score and budget lacking better mention, they don't even try.
I'm betting the last half episode are with the Returns costume.
Is he going for an Elvis guido look?!

At least they are getting close.

I prefer this over the black outfit. Was getting tired of seeing it.

Obviously it's temporary. It speaks more about Clark stepping out of the shadows and more into the public eye. Putting color and appeal to being a hero.

People griped about the black suit, they'll complain about this one and I'm sure they'll whine when he dons then cape.

For me, I'm glad with the change.

its awesome. end of debate. he needed to be rid of the black suit. what was that "s" made with, chalk? it got old quick and didnt fit him very well. this looks good. you cant deny that jacket is what all of the smalville hero suits were building up to. its giving clark a clear place amongst the bright and flashy other heroes for just a short while before he steps out infront of all of them as the worlds greatest hero and finally is in the full superman suit once and for all.

LOL I laughed when I saw the video, can Smallville get more ridiculous?

This looks more Green Arrow/JLA inspired. You would think this is what he would have worn originally. Now that he has the suit that his mother made, why bother with the leather?
The tempo already seems to have dropped from the premiere.

wow, u people are so picky. Its not the best outfit for him, but its a process. It just one small step from the " Dark Knight of Metropolis" to "The Man of Steel". Be patient, the creators can only do so much with what they got.

Hmmm...if the jacket wasn't so tight looking I'd probably buy it myself. I like how the 'S' symbol is emblazoned on it without it being too obvious. I like the jacket!

I want a black one with the Batman symbol on it. Come on SuperHeroStuff, get ya sh!t together. :)

I like it. I do agree it looks a bit off, but its better than the Neo outfit. Maybe if he didn't zip it up?

Also it's good how they have the flag flapping behind him like a cape.

I think RedSon got the point there, maybe he's getting closer to a 'city hero' image and so rather than using black outfit, took that ^ suit..

But it looks.. Eww..

Honestly the whole black get up with the blur Shield S and the trench coat was kool i admit, this jacket with the S is ok and they almost got it right but Season 10 really? more like season 4, they have to do better im getting bored with season 10 already.

I find the lack of creativity on the part of SV's producers highly unsettling and quite infuriating.
