They started out well this season, but have really been dragging their feet like the last four or five episodes, and it looks like that's not gonna stop. The show just started really sucking after season 5, I enjoyed it up 'till there and it made a little sense, but now it's just the biggest piece of bullshit. Season 9 started to get better though.

Things I like about the show are defining moments like when Lex was about to let his dad die in the season 1 finale, when Clark tried to embrace Lana when she was 100% kryptonite, when Lionel gave Lex a fake hug for the media while Lex watched Clark's parents truly embrace him at the end of JITTER, when Lex chose power over love in LEXMAS, the Justice League episode, the Justice Society episode, and the fact that Seasons 8 and 9 were pretty much Justice League Unlimited Live Action. But yeah Season 10 has completely dropped the ball, and every episode was a waste of the characters they introduced, and in no way does it seem like Clark is progressing towards his destiny.

And Grif seems to be legally retarded so anything he says is pointless really. Just make sure you take your meds ok there buddy?

@Leee777 I think season 9 was actually their best. 8 was good except for the finale and Lana's arc. 10 is cheesy. I think they're trying too hard.

What you have to do when you watch Smallville is lower all of your expectations. Then, you will be amazed!

@LEE
Season 8? Sorry but come on Pal, Supergirl, Bizarro and Lex finding about Clark's powers; especially the way he did, clone Julian, stupid pining over Lana, etc were all majorly majorly retarted in season 7; that's where it started. Season 7&8 just shouldn't even have happened, they could even jumped from 5 to 9 (storyline wise) with Zod getting seperated from Lex's body, and then he's there on Earth, when Clark opened the Phantom Zone he released all Zod's minions, and then they're done dragging their feet & wasting our time and they can do what they did in 9, he can face his Destiny; FLY and PUT ON THE FRICKING SUIT, and they can continue with the FRICKING early days of Superman!

Looks like they're trying to add suspense by using shaky camera movements. That should be enough to get some people excited, like the Amish maybe.

I honestly hope it doesn't suck, since I'm going to watch it.

It's hard to criticize these writers and directors since they don't even watch the show.
