Best known for starring in The Boys, Jack Quaid will take on a very different role this summer in Adult Swim's My Adventures With Superman. The actor is playing the show's Man of Steel, though we find this Clark Kent at a much earlier point in his career as both a superhero and intrepid reporter.
One intriguing twist is that the Man of Tomorrow appears to be struggling to keep his incredible abilities under wraps. Clark's clumsiness inadvertently activating his powers may be what exposes his secret to Lois Lane, a colleague determined to make her name off Metroppolis' new protector.
We've also learned that My Adventures With Superman will premiere on Adult Swim on Thursday, July 6, with new instalments following every week. They'll also debut on Max the following day, meaning you'll be able to watch the first two episodes there on July 7.

My Adventures With Superman catches up with twenty-somethings Clark Kent, the bright and driven Lois Lane, and their best friend Jimmy Olsen as they begin to discover who they are and everything they can accomplish together as an investigative reporting team at the Daily Planet.
In this serialized coming-of-age story, we'll follow Clark as he builds his secret Superman identity and embraces his role as the hero of Metropolis - and perhaps the world. Lois, now growing into a star investigative journalist, takes aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen under her wing.
All the while, Clark and Lois are falling in love, sharing adventures, taking down bad guys, stumbling over secrets, and discovering what it means to be Superman and Lois Lane.
Jack Quaid (Star Trek: Lower Decks) and Alice Lee (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) lead the voice cast as Clark Kent and Lois Lane, respectively. Ishmel Sahid, meanwhile, plays Jimmy Olsen and Brainiac will be brought to life by Michael Emerson.
My Adventures With Superman premieres on Adult Swim on July 6.
