Set to inaugurate the newly-rebooted James Gunn-led DC universe, Superman: Legacy is a film surrounded by much anticipation by fans of the character, as we will get to witness James Gunn's take on the Man of Steel in the new DCU.
Written by James Gunn, Superman: Legacy will be doing much more than introducing Clark Kent and Lois Lane, as it was revealed not too long ago that there will be quite an abundance of heroes coming into the film in an already established superhero-filled DC universe.
It makes us think, is the film going to be too bloated? Stephanie Cerretti, VFX supervisor on Superman: Legacy, issued a comment about the script, giving us more insight on how special the project truly is, and how things are going behind-the-scenes.
"I can't tell you too much about Superman. I really can't. But all I can say is it's going to be great. It's a great script. We're trying really hard."
With a hardworking visual effects team, a great lead role for Superman in David Corenswet, and a project written by a man who truly understands these character's at their cores, Superman: Legacy may finally serve as a promising start to a well-planned out DC universe.
