Raven voice actress Tara Strong assures fans that if they go out to see the Teen Titans GO! movie, then a revival of the original show may happen. But is this just the studio trolling the OG fans again?

Look, we all miss the original Teen Titans & let's face it: the majority hates Teen Titans Go! (Regardless if it's aimed at us or not). Mainly because it does its best to poke fun at its haters & fans of the original (See The Return Of Slade episode).

But it looks like a beacon of hope has come in the form of a tweet from the voice of Raven herself, Tara Strong. Check it out for yourself:

Well this is going to cause mixed emotions...

This whole thing most likely reeks of a publicity stunt, & Tara could be talking about Season 6 of GO! since Season 5 starts this month. HOWEVER, that would be in bad taste on her part because she knows the hate for the show would get even bigger than it already is, & this is Cartoon Network's baby, OF COURSE it's going to continue for at least five more seasons, we know that for a fact! & because of the picture that's in the tweet she responded to, I think it's safe to say that we might be in for something special, OG fans!

Also, sidenote: there has actually been talks about bringing back the original TT in the past few months. Greg Cipes, the voice actor for Beast Boy, responded to a comment on his Instagram asking if the revival is happening, to which he replied "yes".

So, I guess if we want a Season 6 of Teen Titans, you'll have to go see Teen Titans GO! To The Movies on July 27...Yay? What do you think about all this?

@Forthas - I didn’t like that (fellow countryman) Sir Peter Jackson streeeetched the Hobbit movies to 3, totally not needed except for revenue and I really hope WB don’t do it again for these movies.

But I guess, money talks and I have so little so I’ll be quiet now🤷🏽‍♂️

@ChangAlang - Peter has talked about not liking making Hobbit into a three part movie too, but he said the reason he did was because New Zealand was going through an economic downturn and didn't want to put people out of a job, because a lot were employed to make those movies.

@BlackIceJoe - My Dad worked in the film industry down this way for years (organised and drove the camera cars for Lord of the Rings) and yeah there’s was a downturn after some law reforms.

But thank you for letting me know Peter was against making 3 movies. I feel better off knowing that as I kind of had it in for him...🤭

A real Teen Titans show returning would be great and I doubt it would be on Cartoon Network, but I could see it being on the DC streaming site like how Young Justice will be.

Unpopular opinion: I didn't like the Teen Titans cartoon. It's still nostalgic for me because I used to watch it when I was younger but Young Justice blows it out of the water. It was everything Teen Titans should have been with a more realistic tone.

I'd much rather see more seasons of young justice.

@billnye69 - Well, it looks like you're getting your wish considering a third season of Young Justice is one of the shows that will be available when the DC Universe streaming service launches some time later this year.

It would be very cool to bring it back, i loved that show. But i can't see them airing Teen Titans and Young Justice at the same time.

As much as I want the original series to come back, I feel like this is just a ploy to put more butts in seats.

@kRAVENklaw - Yeah, feel the same way.

The fact that she might not be lying (though I doubt it) is what pains me. I can't watch this movie from CN TTG universe just to bring back the original TT, it's impossible for me.

In fact now that I think about it, her logic makes no sense. It's like, "Buy more Big Macs from McDonalds in hopes that the McRib comes back!" While fair, doesn't exactly work. It just means we're showing support for Teen Titans Go, meaning that we are lying in saying that we want more TTG when really we followed her advice in wanting to see more Teen Titans.

As @ANewPope said, she could just be acting coy in saying a new Season Six for TTG, and she wouldn't be wrong. She could just pull the, "Oh, but I didn't specify exactly what show the season six was for ;)" card. This is actually pretty lame of her because I don't know whether to believe her or not.

Regardless, I don't and won't watch this film. Regardless of the fact if it (actually) costs me a continuation of Teen Titans (or not) because it just isn't worth it. Especially with all this doubt I have that she might be telling the truth, or lying (as you said). We'll just have to see what happens if this film (somehow) manages to succeed. Or we won't, and will just be left wondering (what could have been) if it bombing in the box office.

@PrimitiveMan -
It's gotten to the point where I'm extremely doubtful whenever something comes up about another season. I think they should just do a comic continuation at this point instead, maybe even with a time jump, having the previous Titans mentor a new team.
But yeah, I won't be seeing this either. A, because I'm broke, and B, I'm not gonna waste money on something I know I won't enjoy, like the past two Transformers movies.
