The Jonathan Liebesman-directed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles provided some decent competition to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy in early August. Even though the turtles weren't able to sustain themselves against the onslaught of Rocket & Groot, they did manage to be a modest box office success with a gross of over $342M. Paramount has already announced a sequel to be released on June 3, 2016.

We may have seen the Blu-ray/DVD special edition Raphael Gift Set a while back, but now we have the official release date for the aforementioned set as well as the 2-disc Blu-ray/DVD combo. The Blu-ray/DVD will be available for purchase in stores and online in the U.S. on December 16.

Along with the announcement of the release date came a ton of special features, which you can see listed below. They include an extended ending, the "Shell Shocked" music video, and more!

Why is the collectors edition a Raphael statue , i could have sworn that the main character was April O'Neil considering she took up about 80% of screen time.

I enjoyed it but couldn't stand what they did with Donatello, they made him a super nerd just to get across that he is smart.

I'll be picking it up, had a blast with it as a Turtles fan. Could of been better but I was pleased with what I got. Except for the Turtle rap... that was horrible.
