There have been many iterations of the heroes in a half shell over the years, both live-action and animated. Even now, Seth Rogen is developing a CGI TMNT adaptation, and there's also a new video game on the horizon.
We had the opportunity to speak with a few of the people involved in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles projects over the years, including actors, voice actors, and creatives behind the 1990's animated series and live-action films, and Michael Bay's 2014 version.
Getting the chance to speak with actors spanning generations across four decades of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles projects allowed us to orchestrate a hilarious interaction between two of them, in particular.
Rob Paulsen (Animaniacs) voiced both Raphael in the 1990s cartoon and the 2010s animated version of Donatello. When speaking with him recently, he did us the favor of giving a particularly gross pizza order with toppings including tuna fish, marshmallows, Doritos, and chocolate to Tohoru Masamune (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
Tohoru was the actor who portrayed Shredder in Michael Bay's 2014 live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The last thing we expected was for him to record a response in which he actually eats the pizza!
Check out the hilarious video below!
Rob Paulsen, the voice of Raphael from the 1990's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon gives a special shout-out with pizza topping instructions to Tohoru Masamune, the actor who played Shredder in the 2014 live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. And Tohoru responds by actually eating the pizza!
