Earlier this week, we heard that, despite having a conversation about the project, The Avengers' Tom Hiddleston wasn't going to play The Crow in Relativity Media's adaptation of the acclaimed 1994 adaptation. At the same time, it was reported that the role might go to Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood, Battleship), despite no offer being made. So it should come as no surprise that the actor denies being attached to the remake while speaking with our friends over at MTV Splash Page.
"No, I'm not attached to anything right now after 'True Blood,'" he said. He was recently considering Warner Bros.' Tarzan movie before production was postponed. Regardless, Skarsgard praises the original Crow film which starred Brandon Lee. "Yeah, it's a great film. It's really cool."
Skarsgard and Hiddleston are just two of several names who have been linked to The Crow. Bradley Cooper was attached at one point, while Channing Tatum, Mark Wahlberg and James McAvoy were also linked to the remake. Who do you want to see play Eric Draven on the big screen?
