“Legends of Today”

PART ONE OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW” — In its second major crossover event with “Arrow,” Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#208).

“Legends of Yesterday”

PART TWO OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER WITH “THE FLASH” — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) take Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Carter Hall (guest star Falk Henstchel) to a remote location to keep them hidden from Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) while they figure out how to defeat him. Malcolm (John Barrowman) arranges a meeting between Vandal, Green Arrow and The Flash that doesn’t go as planned. Meanwhile, Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) work with Team Flash to come up with a weapon powerful enough to destroy Vandal Savage. Thor Freudenthal directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Marc Guggenheim and teleplay by Brian Ford Sullivan & Marc Guggenheim (#408).

You know...Jason Momoa would have been a great Vandal Savage if he wasn't Aquaman already.

Comic books themselves ARE cheesy! And I've been partaking of that cheese for over 50 years, and loving the taste.

Love these shows but I can't get over the bleakness of this photo. There is literally nothing 'green' about this Arrow here nor is there much indication of a striking red from the Flash. Just a small complaint though, looking forward to this crossover

@BlackStar25 - "You know...Jason Momoa would have been a great Vandal Savage if he wasn't Aquaman already."

Just like Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would've made a great Aquaman, if Momoa hadn't been cast for the role.

And, as someone who's been around long enough to see the evolution of live action comic book adaptations over the last 60 plus years, let me tell you...now is the golden age of this genre. There isn't one current adaptation that doesn't have at least some merit. You moaners should have to go back to a steady diet of only the old shows like Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, or Wonder Woman to appreciate the good fortune of having what is given to you today. I know some on this site knows what I'm talking about, because they've lived it along with me. Not many, I'm sure, but there must be a few. Enjoy it all, cause mark my words, it won't last forever. Nothing ever does.

@imkennypowers I always thought that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be the best choice for Constantine in the DCEU.

Check out Hawkman's glove. He's ready to go falconing.

@MrPagBrewster - "Yeah, those costumes look a little "Party City". They shouuld have made it a little more armor and a little less leather. And shine up those mask, they LOOK like plastic."

It's mind-bottling why the costume designer(s) can't or won't attempt to make each characters' costume look like they're not designed by the same person!! At least TRY!!! (ATOM's suit excluded.) The suits should be unique & be designed specifically for each individual character and benefit their powers, skills, fighting style, etc.
Definitely too much leather in the DCtvU, at least they're not all black leather suits. haha. It's the same issue I have with Flash/Reverse Flash's suits, there is no need or reason for every DCtvU suit to be leather!

However, the DCtvU has a TV budget, so it's some what understandable & excusable. I just wish they'd be more creative & resourceful with the suits in spite of their budget.

And to be fair, the DCtvU suits aren't great, but if they are "Party City" costumes, what do you possible call this suit & what's their excuse because it sure as shit isn't their budget?!?!?!

HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAA

@Kr08 - "I always thought that Nikolaj Coster-Waldau would be the best choice for Constantine in the DCEU."

I could see that too! He's a pretty solid actor, so there's plenty of possibilities for characters he could play, good, evil or both.
