THE FLASH: Another Pair Of Huge Cameos May Have Been Revealed - Possible SPOILERS

It looks like The Flash might be shaping up to be every bit the superhero event film as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and two more cameos have now reportedly come to light.

The MCU introduced the Multiverse in Loki, and is set to embrace the concept of alternate realities in a big way with the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The DCEU (or whatever you prefer to call it) will follow suit with The Flash, but Warner Bros. seems to be using their take on the Multiverse as an opportunity to retcon certain elements of their shared world.

Not every aspect of the original incarnation of the DC Films Universe will be altered or replaced, however, and a new rumor claims that two major characters from the "Snyderverse era" will appear.

Possible spoilers follow.

According to Screen Geek, both Jason Momoa and Gal Gadot will show up as Aquaman and Wonder Woman in the Andy Muschietti-directed movie. The site doesn't provide any context for their roles, but based on what we've heard, they will only be cameo appearances. These could be the versions of the characters we know, but since Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) will traverse time and different realities, there's every chance he'll encounter his Justice League teammates on an alternate "Earth."

Previous reports have indicated that Barry will form a new Justice League by the end of the film, and, if this is accurate, it sounds like Diana and Arthur could be along for the ride.

Ben Affleck's take on Batman will also feature, but is expected to bid farewell to the iconic DC Comics hero with one final appearance. How will the movie write his Dark Knight out of the DCEU while paving the way for Michael Keaton's version? Well...

All of this should be treated as rumor for the time being, of course, but it's worth noting that major leaks for The Flash have been finding their way online over the past few weeks.

I like how we've transitioned from leather, to body armor, and now to suits that are wearable mazes.

Cameos cameos cameos…90% of news comicbook related are about cameos nowadays as if those are the best aspects of a cb movie. They can be cool sure but still…

@TheHumanSpider2 - NWH didn't have cameos. They were used as supporting characters.

@RokoVII - I'm hoping we're just getting a multiverse fad that will settle down when the next big gimmick rolls around (possibly treating GenZ as real heroes aggressively supplanting their predecessors instead of worshiping them or maybe soapy romantic plots worth a damn). It's nice to hit all these nostalgia buttons at this exact moment when the "Cinematic Comic Book Silver Age" actors are still young enough to suit up, but after Crisis on Infinite Earths, Spidey, Strange, and Flash, I think the biggest names are going to be spent.

Someone smarter than me may have a better metric, but I would peg proper nostalgia as requiring at least 10 years of a character/actor left fallow. For the G1 Avengers to start making big meaningful return/cameos, we've still got 7 years to fill with something. And you've got some like Hemsworth who aren't even gone yet.

I'd love to see some real messy love-polygons and angsty melodrama take over the CBM space just in time for an MCU X-franchise. (But I've basically been ready for that for years.)

@RokoVII - This has been my issue for a while. Not everything has to have guest stars. It makes sense in solo movies about characters that are actually in the Avengers, for other Avengers to pop up.

But every solo movie shouldn't have guest stars, and every character shoukdnt end up joining the Avengers. I'm really hoping that when the X-Men finally come into play that they mostly stick to their own corner of the MCU, only crossing over with the wider MCU for big event movies like an Infinity War style finale movie.
