THE FLASH Wraps Shooting With Some Movie Set Photos From Director Andy Muschietti

A minute-long teaser for The Flash premiered during DC FanDome on Saturday, and director Andy Muschietti has now taken to social media to share some behind the scenes photos as shooting finally wraps.

We were expecting to see a little more from The Flash during DC FanDome, especially as a featurette for the movie leaked online earlier this year. Instead, we were treated to a minute-long teaser that featured the Scarlet Speedster's new suit and narration from Michael Keaton's Batman.

A glimpse of Sasha Calle's Supergirl and a Barry Allen doppelganger were among the other minor reveals, though anyone who has seen the set photos doing the rounds online probably wasn't too blown away.

One possible reason for the lack of surprises is the fact that shooting has only just finished. That was confirmed by director Andy Muschietti yesterday when he shared a couple of Instagram posts thanking the cast and crew. These photos don't reveal much, but we have a feeling Barry Allen might be near Wayne Manor in that moody shot of Ezra Miller surrounded by what looks like fog.

As for that mysterious underground location, it could be tied to the Batcave or where Supergirl is being held captive (assuming The Flash loosely adapts the events of the Flashpoint comic books).

Warner Bros. has The Batman, DC League of Super-Pets, and Black Adam to promote before The Flash arrives next November, so it could be a while before we see anything official from this one.

Thank you, Mr. Muschietti, for bringing us the Multiverse story every DC fan deserves and for bringing back the most memorable Batman ever.

I still have no idea what the main story (apart from the Multiverse angle) and the main threat will be about though (except if either of the Barry becomes the Reverse-Flash).

Just show us Keaton's Batman, everybody knows he's in it already!

This movie is incredibly important.

If Dc drop the ball on this... weil, okay DC already dropped the ball, but this is their chance to pick it back up.

We're all watching them bending down to pick up the ball with baited breath.
If they get distracted by a flower and pick that up instead... well then I will have no defence for them anymore. I will abandon all hope.

@GwenLantern - Yeah, I want DC to be making good movies so bad. And with this movie having potential time/reality altering implications, they can really use this to fix a lot of what's wrong with the DCEU.

Will they take advantage? Probably not. But man I really wish they would.

I think the big problem is they don't have a Kevin Feige type person overseeing everything DC related. And when they did, He Who Shall Not Be Named made such bad decisions that it all fell flat for a lot of people.

They need someone that doesn't want to turn DC into an edgelord's wet dream. Just stay to the big characters and have an overall plan to at least keep the overall world connected and sensible. They don't even need to make it as connected as Marvel. Just as long as everything makes sense.

Am I the only one that found the Flash teaser underwhelming?
It was cool to see his glowing suit and the back of Keatons head but really that trailer didn’t do it for me. Maybe it’s cuz it’s already disappointing to have Ezra Miller as Barry Allen but now it looks even worse to have two Ezra Miller’s in the movie.. double the craption packed awkward moment comedy.
