Some more photos from the Glasgow set of The Flash have been shared online, and these give us our best look yet at stuntman Rick English suited-up as Ben Affleck's version of the Dark Knight...

Filming on The Flash movie appears to have resumed following a temporary shut-down due to an accident involving a camera operator colliding with the Batcycle, and The Flash Film News Twitter page has shared some new photos and a short video from the set.

The pics provide our best look yet at Rick English - who was also Robert Pattinson's stunt driving double on The Batman, incidentally - suited-up as what we assume to be Ben Affleck's version of the Dark Knight. This still hasn't been confirmed, but we know it's not Michael Keaton's Batman '89, so unless there's a third incarnation of Gotham's Caped Crusader in this movie, it seems like a safe enough bet.

We also have some footage of a stunt sequence being shot, as the Batcycle crashes through a pair of cars blocking its path.

Andy Muschietti is directing The Flash from a script by Christina Hodson, with Michael Disco and Marianne Jenkins on board as executive producers. Plot details are still under wraps, but the story is expected to be at least partially influenced by the Flashpoint comic book arc.

In addition Affleck and Keaton, Kiersey Clemons will reprise the role of Iris West, while Sasha Calle will make her DCEU debut as Supergirl. Ezra Miller will once again play Barry Allen, aka The Flash.

The Flash is currently is scheduled to race into theaters on November 4, 2022.

@WakandaTech - we had absolutely nothing for endgame either, look how it turned out

@WakandaTech

Multiverse of Madness and NWH were likely entirely shot on a sound stage.

Flash is currently shooting on location.

@WakandaTech - That's because WB is the studio of pro's pros... I am curious to see if we got something akin to the JLU episode when McGinnis met Bruce in his prime. Affleck and Keaton on the screen at the same time.

@theprophet - I’ll say Disney has been pretty good keeping things under wrap

@WakandaTech - Thats because a majority of NWH and MoM will be made up of mostly subpar CGI..

@theprophet - well we did get this from Endgame

@WakandaTech - That's because WB actually films human beings in real locations. Rather than just green screens and rotoscoping the actors in.

Is that just a stunt suit, or is it a different costume (possibly early days batman with a painted bat symbol?)

Seeing pictures like these from the Flash movie primarily reminds me of my excitement for The Batman.

The stuntman in the first pic looks like he has John Wesley Shipp's chin and smile

@Darth258 - Now that you bring that up, it does look him. Also, idk if anyone's ever brought this up but imo, Shipp's got that definitive superhero chin and smile

Those sunglasses are the worst why not just put lenses in the cowl, it’s ridiculous looking and thirst stubby ears. Otherwise I like the suit.
