Film/Final version of Thor's armour is far better imo....however a 'Helmet' would complete the look, as these designs prove.

1st Thor design looks badass but seems a little much for Thor in the movies now, maybe when he becomes King of Asguard. The 2nd looks like he's possessed by an evil spirit. I think that costume would work in some comic book story in the future, but definitely no the movies.

Meh. The first Thor armor is ok. I prefer all movie versions over it though. The second one is unbelievable awful.

I still find it funny how when T3 was coming, advertisements and commercials focused on Shockwave and was even said to be the baddie of the movie...then the movie came out and he was probably in about 5 minutes of the film, way to lead us on Bay, Well Done LoL

The Thor costume on the left looks pretty epic. Idk WAT they were tryin wit the other one lol. He gives off a Dante from DMC vibe

I like these designs for the "Battleship" aliens, they should have used one of those looks instead of the lazy one they used in final film. But, even if the aliens did look good, the film would still suck.

I think the issue with Thors helmet is it either sucks to honestly wear or the actors hair is far more expressive.

I agree with @72, here. There's too much going on with the first armor. Overkill, really. The second armor has that Kratos God of War feel to it; not really Thor's style of armor wear. I don't hate them, just not as good as the other concept arts. Like this for instance:


Now that I would not mind if Chris used that in Thor. But I'm happy with what we got in that amazing film. :)

But I will say this about that Thor concept art. The helmets look pretty sick, IMO. Especially the first one, man. SWEET! :)

Shockwave looks almost as the same stupid thing of the final version..
Im only saying stupid because the movie was stupid... and Thor look cool but for a videogame or something, the final version was perfect remindsme a lot to the classic Thor suit

If they had gone with the second version of Thor, I would have flown to Hollywood or New Mexico or wherever to throat chop everyone involved in that decision. The first rendering would have been bad-ass if they would just tone down the look a little bit.

Who cares about the Transformers...how different are they? Not much, that's how much. If you would have told me that those drawings of the Transformers were the exact copy of what they used in the movie, I would not have argued with you. That's how little difference there is to me.

Marvel should change Thor's suit, his gonna be visiting the different realms so he should have different suits and armors for the different elements and terrains.
