In a recent interview Kenneth Branagh has told reporters that he is thrilled for Thor 2 even though he's not directing it.
"I look forward to seeing Thor 2," he has said on the red carpet at the critic circle awards.
"It was a timing issue. I was ready to commit to a few things that I had been involved with for some time - The Painkiller, a play I did in Belfast, and another series of Wallander for the BBC, and I wasn't able to do everything," he explained.
"And so I went back to things I had previously been connected with."
If this is true then perhaps he didn't have as much of an issue with Marvel Studios as has been previously reported or it could be the fact that his dispute with Marvel Studios pushed him to pursue other projects.
