Kevin Feige Addresses 'Enchantress' As THOR 3 Villain, & Coulson's Return To The MCU

While chatting to Movies.com, the Marvel head honcho fielded some questions about the planned Thor threequel, as well as any possible future tie-ins with Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. He gives nothing away of course, but might drop a hint of two with his refusal to discuss certain things!

Many fans expected (and wanted) to see the Enchantress face-off against the Mighty Thor in his first Marvel sequel, but we got the kinda rubbish Malekith and the Dark Elves instead. Now with a third movie announced, surely Amora will at least make an appearance? Tom Hiddleston has said he'd love to see her as the villain, and her sister Lorelai popped up in this week's episode of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. -- could this be an opening for the Enchantress to debut in the MCU? "No, I wouldn't say that," Kevin Feige replied when asked if the recent Asgardian events would carry over to the threequel. "They (Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.) very much have to forge their own territory, their own ground on the TV show, and where events can coincide... it's fun to do that." Well..that's not a no right? Feige was also asked whether Agent Phil Coulson would appear in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, to which he replied: "That is a good question that I probably shouldn't answer for any number of reasons." Sounds like a possibility anyway - but would you guys like Coulson back in the MCU, or are you happy with his current home on our tv screens? There's more at the link below.

How perfect would it be for Jane Foster to die in AoU. That way, there would be no need for Thor to be in Midgard. Good opportunity to have an all out fantasy epic for the 3rd film.

I wouldn't let the fact that someone doesn't reply with a direct "Yes" or "No" lead you down the path of assumptions. I've seen this many times on this site and the end result is fan disappointment.

The anticipation is the excitement, not the assumption.

I still don't get why Coulson was so important to Fury outside of ABC wanting to do a Shield show and he was a popular character...love the show but still there has to be a reason why Coulson is so damn important

My only concern is how different would she be portrayed then what Lorelei was in AoS? I mean Lorelei kind of already was the Enchantress.

Coulson has worn out his welcome IN The MCU. Why is he so important to Fury??? The dude is really just his secretary who runs errands for him regarding talking to members of the Avengers. Why does he have his own team? Did Fury just want to give him a hobby so he would leave him alone withdraw resurrect shit? Why resurrect him? To test out the possibility of hbjng the power to do it? I think that's why. Coulson no that important. Cap was prob creeped out as shit when he said he watched while he slept. And shitty job desiring Caps Avengers suit Coulson. Bring him back to life was a reason to give him his own show, allow Marvel to do SHIELD tv show and give that show a long arching plot which is Coulson finding out why've was resurrected. Who cares!!!

Lorelei's magic is nowhere near as powerful as Enchantress'. All she can really do is influence men, whereas Amora can create illusions, levitate, distort time, conjure energy shields, use mind control, telekinesis, transmutation, etc.
