My Concept for Thor 3 & 4

My attempt at a possible plot for the next two solo Thor movies.

I love the potential of the Thor movies, the movies themselves I think are great but I think the universe they’ve created is phenomenal and that’s what I want these films to explore. Not only that but in the three movies (counting Avengers of course) they have constructed the most interesting Hero/Villain relationship ever (arguably) in comic book movie history with Thor & Loki.

In this editorial I’ll be looking at what my brain has imagined will lie in stall for the God of Thunder and the God of Mischief in my versions of Thor 3 and 4.

So at the end of Thor: The Dark World our hero had left earth to live with Jane Foster and we assume to join forces with the Avengers permanently, however his believed dead brother Loki had taken over the throne and is now ruler of Asgard, the whereabouts of the pair’s father Odin unknown.

So I believe that during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jane Foster will be killed, don’t ask me how, I don’t care, I just really want her dead so we can have more interesting Thor stories. I still love you Natalie Portman, I just don’t really like Jane Foster. So, anyway, after Jane’s death in Age of Ultron, Thor returns to Asgard, Loki is still king but continuing to disguise himself as Odin. Loki rules with an iron fist but he has actually managed to create peace throughout the realms, by his side is his main advisor The Enchantress and bodyguard The Executioner. Loki gives Thor the role of General to take charge of all the Asgardian soldiers throughout the realms.

It’s here we begin a sort of but not quite love triangle between Thor, Sif and the Enchantress, The Enchantress, who is in love with Thor, tries hard to seduce him, while Sif stands by his side purely as a warrior. Thor rejects Enchantress’ advances and finds himself being drawn more towards Sif’s loyalty. Meanwhile Loki sets about a plan to have the Executioner to kill Thor in a battle with rebel forces, (secondary villain, I don’t know many Thor villains so you tell me who this should be); the Enchantress is horrified at the idea of Thor being killed and tells Thor that Odin is being kept in a long forgotten dungeon.

Thor manages to free Odin and Odin confronts Loki, they have an incredible battle similar to Dumbledore vs Voldemort, this battle results in Loki being badly wounded, Thor meanwhile kills the Executioner and the secondary villain whoever that is, Odin cannot bring himself to kill Loki, half because of Frigga’s love for him and half for his own love of him, so he has Loki excelled once again. It’s now that Odin collapses from his battle wounds and dies in Thor’s arms. Thor takes on the throne of Asgard and rules as king at last, and Thor 3 ends.

Thor: Ragnorak will be the 4th film. Thor is ruling the 9 realms in peace and is a great king, he and Sif have begun a relationship and he is just getting over the death of Jane Foster. However Loki returns with a vengeance, in Thor 3 he was a true antihero who tried and failed to be a good king, now he is angry and has no remorse, he wants to destroy Asgard whatever the cost. Loki has teamed up with Surtur, with his army of fire warriors they attack Asgard.

Now I’m not going to lie, I haven’t really thought much about the structure of this film, however this is the final film as in this film, everyone dies, the warriors three, Heimdall, Surtur and most importantly, Thor and Loki who die together.

Okay so I screwed up at the end but not thinking in depth about how Ragnorak would play out but let me know what you think, what ideas you like and what ideas are terrible. I’m a fan like all of you and we all just want these films to be as satisfying as possible.

Please be nice.

I don't think "contract" means what you think it means...

I'd actually be down with Ragnarok being the 3rd film, and having Asgard in Oklahoma in the 4th. Filmgoing audiences may feel that's an utter cheat though, but it's one of my favorite Thor stories.

Umm.......no, Jane isn't going to die, so all of this is pointless.

I like everything except your version of Loki and Odin having this epic battle. Loki has no where near the kind of power to even think about giving Odin a good fight. Odin has epic battles with beings like Galactus, Thanos, Dark God kings. Even Thor is no match for Odin.
