Cool man, gr8 find! ; )

I'm still pissed off that this is not really live-action no more... I'm no TIN TIN fan but was looking forward to it!

Now, might watch it when it hits TV lol.

This thing looks AMAZING!
And I finally saw what the film will look like, for some reason I just didn't understand their description of it before. They should have just said "We'll Beowulf it".

I hope we see the cameo of Rastapopoulos (Tintin´s rich archenemy) in this!:) Alfred Molina or Ben Kingsley should play him.
Captain Haddock´s first mate Allan is probably going to be the main bad guy in this. Cause Daniel Craig as the pirate Red Rackham is only going to appear in flashbacks like in the comics.

The live-action, even it would have been great movie, it would have ruined all what Tintin is about! Herge would have been turned on his grave! This is the perfect way to go! No live-action, but no cartoon either, but something in the middle of these two!:)

Tintin´s success is in the art and colorful characters of the comics!:)

Herge did say his Tintin was "live action, not cartoon". However, this still looks better than I first anticipated, and could be pretty good.

Naysayers to this movie should read the comics. This is no superhero movie, it's not Beowulf and it's certainly not the damn Polar Express. It's a cross between a noir, Indiana Jones, and ironic comedy. Highly unique, even today, where there is a comic book for every taste. Should be interesting to see Jackson and Spielberg's take on it.

totally agree with thisheart, and why all the negativity towards Tintin here? The animated series is my favourite alongwith Batman TAS. He is undoubtedly one of the greatest comic characters and certainly deserves this film and what better choice rather than Speilberg and Jackson? plus an EPIC cast. This is gonna be great.
