According to Twitchfilm, Transformers 4 has found its pair of young co-stars to battle Decepticons alongside Marky Mark. Nicola Peltz (The Last Airbender) is said to have beat Isabelle Cornish, Gabriella Wilde and Margaret Qualley for her role, while Thwaites (soon to be seen in Maleficent) was up against the likes of Luke Grimes, Landon Liboiron, Jack Reynor and Hunter Parrish. Apparently Peltz will play Wahlberg's teenage daughter, and Thwaites her race car driver boyfriend. How super awesome does that sound? The story will revolve around the Transformers blowing up The Great Wall Of China or something.

Neither of these two made me give a damn.

The only actor that would make me want to see this out of curiosity would be Mel Gibson for the mere chance we'd get to hear more of his drunken Jew rant's on set.

Everyone that says these movies suck is missing the entire point of the movie. They obviously were not written for their plots or grade A acting. They are made to eat popcorn, grab your kids and watch robots blow crap up. If your looking for The Green Mile your watching the wrong flick.

When you watch a Michael Bay movie with those expectations you will enjoy the movies.

Could they actually have put a plot and great acting behind them? Probably. But then it wouldn't have made any money and you wouldn't even get a reboot for a decade.

I rather play the War/Fall of Cybertron games,or watch Transformers Prime,or Beast Wars,or Animated,or the original cartoon,anything but the movies.

@IDKwhatToChoose See the problem with that is Bay didn't give us that, he gave us a teen angst flick with some robots fighting in the background.

Anyone reading this, when you watch all the transformers movies and fast forward anything dealing with Sam's life or family the movies are great.

One day a fan with time and ability will edit a single great movie from all the robot scenes in all the movies and make a masterpiece.

What's getting stale is how "worldly/of-our-Earth" the Transformers have become/what they've become assimilated to.

The best thing these Transformers movie could do is leave the Earth behind and explore the rest of the entire universe, especially Cybertron.

I hope Superman does the same thing and leaves Earth behind. Give me some damn Apokolips, some Oa. Just anywhere else but here.

If I wanted to see the Earth I could just go outside. Make the ridiculous amount of money I pay to watch movies worth it.

@toiletbowl

you're joking right?
having real characters (as opposed to stereotypes). having character arcs. having a plot. having wit, and laugh-out-loud humor. not being racist. not being sexist. the massive action set-piece only being the climax of the film. and having [frick]ing superheroes.

these things essentially makes avengers very, VERY different from transformers. you do realize that 'action' is a very broad genre right?

Who's the idiot asking for a trailer they haven't even started principle photography. The first one was ok and that's because I loved the cartoon in the 80s but money talks.
