THOR: RAGNAROK Star Sir Anthony Hopkins Joins TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT
Paramount has officially announced the latest addition to the cast of Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight, and it's none other than Sir Anthony Hopkins! The film is due out in theaters June 2017!
Ahead of its production start date, Paramount Pictures has announced that Academy Award-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins (Thor: Ragnarok) has signed on for a key role in Transformers: The Last Knight. Further details on his role were unavailable, but it's presumed he'll be portraying a human character and not voicing one of the larger-than-life robots.
Hopkins joins a cast that already features Mark Wahlberg (Patriots Day), Josh Duhamel (11.22.63), Isabela Moner (100 Things To Do Before High School), and Jerrod Carmichael (Neighbors 2: Soroity Rising). Michael Bay (13 Hours: The Secret Service Of Benghazi) is once again in the director's chair. Art Marcum (Iron Man), Matt Holloway (Iron Man), and Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down) penned the script.
