RIP Beth.

Honestly I think the actress wanted to do something else so that's why they killed her.

To me her death was kinda forced. But oh well.

I didn't see that coming, but it seems like the actress could be looking for new opportunities.
I mean, all she did on this show was sing and take care of the baby.
I'd want out, too.

She was dumb anyway.

She put everybody at danger by stabbing that chick with a small pair of scissors.

She seemed pretty upset she was killed off as all feel when they are eliminated from the show. She had set up roots in the area and now had to arrange her transition into unemployment and work conducive environment. Also she couldn't tell anyone while all this unsettling is taking place to keep the show content secret. Thats pretty tough...i might cry a little too.

Maggie didn't even remember she had a sister for all of this season and the second half of the last soo I'm supposed to believe she was hurt by Beth dying??? Sorry TWD but you need better writers I've been saying that since season two! The hospital thing was soo lame and boring. Weak episode!

Her character had no play left. There was nothing to do with her, and she didn't advance the plot at all so why keep her around?

She sings and babysits.

And?

Better to get her done now than to drag her character out any further. She was like the appendix of the group anyways. There, but useless.

If Beth knew she was going to go out and wanted to try to kill Dawn, why didn't she just stab her in the eye? Would have had more of an effect and be more badass.

Killed off in a stupid way, but boy am I glad it wasn't Carol who died. Man, Hershel, Beth, Glenn...Maggie's going to have it hard this season.

I've gotta admit, I did not see Beth's death coming. I was genuinely shocked when it happened. That's what I love about this show, things just 'happen'.

People like the new direction the show has gone. It is definitely more character driven. Season 4 was all about getting attached to all of these new characters so their deaths in season 5 would have weight. Also, I really think the "villain" of this season is the priest.

I can't believe Darryl lost his arm, similar to his brother. I don't know how useful he will be to the group going forward. I mean, he can't even use his cross-bow anymore.

Her untimely death makes the whole hospital rescue angle pointless and wasted episodes that I don't feel the desire to revisit. Its the same reason I haven't rewatched Aliens since Alien 3 came out. Newt and Hicks surviving in Aliens was made pointless by Alien 3 killing them off at the start off screen. I know weird comparison but hey it's better than spamming pics of Noah with headlines.
