The Governor Not Done On THE WALKING DEAD?

Despite some very particular events unfolding in the mid-season finale of AMC's The Walking Dead, actor David Morrisey stated that The Governor's time on the show may not be over?

Speaking to the Press Association [via Zap 2 It], actor David Morrisey teased that The Governor may show up again in future episodes of The Walking Dead. Said Morrisey, "Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can't confirm and I can't deny anything," said the British actor. He continued, "Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see." Will The Governor return as a mental projection? Will he rise again as a zombie? Or did angry survivors mutilate his body? We will all have to wait and see when the show returns on Feb. 9 at 9 PM PST/EST on AMC.

Didn't read, but I'm sick of seeing this stuff all over the place and getting minor spoilers all the time.

Not to say it's anyone's fault. I should just catch up, but it's hard to find the time to watch these things.

Just let the Governor be dead, he wasn't nearly as memorable as he could have been.

I just hope that they dont [frick] up Neegan as bad as they did with the Governor.

We never saw him actually get shot. That chick probably shot beside him.

If he survives I can see it going like this; She shoots him in the arm but he survives. It gets infected and has to get it cut off to create the iconic look. Governor looks for a new army to lead and runs into Negan thinking he can easily take control of the Saviors. Negan is much smarter and much tougher than the Governer and sees him for what he is and kills him with Lucille to send a message to would be usurpers, thus establishing hes a bigger bad guy. OR he keeps Governer alive and makes him his bitch.

Please just be done with him, he's not that interesting of a character especially on the show.

Unless they adapt the rise of the governor storyline from the books.

No more. Please.

They completely wasted the potential of the character.

Let him die.

Lets say that the girl never shot him and missed on purpose. He was still stabbed threw his chest with a sword. Not to mention the couple dozen walkers around him. Their is no way he survived. It would be cool to see Rick's mind being stalked be The Governor, lol.

I would like to see flashback episodes of The Governor and his family before the walker apocalypse started.

Who knows maybe he will show up later this season as a walker!!!

I'm still waiting for the characters to come across one of the sickest people they'll ever meet, who has some Walker, maybe a Walker that was a chick he stalked, bound up as he rapes it.
Thats sick but it would happen somewhere. Don't know if they've done that in comics.

Please let him be dead, only bring him back in flashbacks. All that does is just weakened the story line and the character. Cough Cough....... Coulson for example!

He got impaled with sword and left to die around a giant legion of walkers. If that bastard is not really dead, then that's just ridicolous.

The Governor lives on through flashbacks? Maybe he's a walker though.

It's better to just keep him dead than rather living because it would be implausible and silly if The Governor where alive.

Can't kill him.

I actually hope he is still alive and kicking to make trouble for everyone. His two episode arc was the most interesting and compelling part of the entire season. The damned flu thing dragged on and on far too long and was a snooze. None of the survivors are very interesting anymore. Even Daryl is become a boring predictable boy scout with a motorcycle. At least with The Gov you never knew what he was going to do next.

Spoiler Alert morons: Neegan will never be in the show. There's no possible way to execute his character properly since you'd have to tone down his language so much.

And I hope The Governor is still alive. The last episode was pathetic. He rolls in with a tank and outnumbers the prison 2 to 1 and they manage to kill.... nobody. Michonne is tied up RIGHT IN FRONT of the entire Governor group and she [frick]ing barrel rolls her way out of there without anyone noticing her. Then Daryl uses a decomposed walker body as a human shield from about ten yards away and NONE of the bullets go through the walker and hit him? Even though Bob just got shot from over 20 yards away and he said the bullet went straight through.

What a pathetic excuse for an episode. Shit episode and shit season.

Since they never actually showed him getting shot I also wondered the same thing. If he does come back alive then I'm done with this show. I'm not interested in seeing any more dragged out story lines from this series.
