Movie Trailers - Movies Blog "I think it sticks with us more on an emotional level than on a fright level for zombies," Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn in the series, told MTV News. "The zombies look ridiculous, so there are moments that are terrifying. But man, I noticed this one time we were in this specific scene, when Rick is reunited with his family, and the way that he played it, I was like, 'Oh, that's the kind of show we're on.'" "It was like nothing you'll ever see, because no one has ever been through a zombie apocalypse. The emotional things that our characters go through kind of stay with me and it was a real journey." Laurie Holden, who plays Andrea in the series went on to share her thoughts about working on the series which premieres on AMC this Halloween. "It's very different when you're shooting and then now," she explained. "We've been on hiatus for five weeks, and we live it when we're there. It's 115 degrees with the humidity, it's life or death, and our adrenaline is through the roof — if we continued, we'd drop like flies. We were all so committed and dedicated to telling the story, but now it's kind of nice to have a little reprieve — because you can't live there 24-7." "But when we go back for Season Two, absolutely!"
