Speaking to THR about The Govenor's interest in The Prison, Gimple stated, "We've seen The Governor kill people to ensure the safety of his new family and we see him determined." He continued, "e see Rick is very much back as someone with a gun on his hip, ready to participate in the brutality of the world to keep his people safe. It's a very explosive situation and it's entirely possible that everybody doesn't make it back. That sort of thing would be something that would affect these characters even more deeply."

Gimple further teased, "Michonne and Daryl will not react well if they were to see The Governor -- they're not all the way healed from their experiences with him."

The Walking Dead midseason finale will air this Sunday at 9PM PST/EST.

I didn't really like the epidemic storyline, but the last few episodes have been great with the return of the Governor. Last season was great except for the finale; I think the producers heard the general feeling of disappointment from last season's final episode and decided to correct it this time around with a big battle at the prison.

This Governor person sounds like a real pest. Somebody should sit him down and straighten him out before he can stir up any more trouble.

I know the governor kills someone in front of Rick when they're on opposite sides of the gate.

I see Herschel replacing Tyreese's spot from the comics. And I could see Beth getting shot with Judith like Lori did. Hopefully they deliver a good mid-season finale.

I wonder how many people will die at the prison. I know in the comics Carl, Rick, Michonne and Glen survive. I would not care however if Glen or Maggie died.

Sad to know that Hershel will be gone.

@Cyrus... Without coming off as rude... Do you even read the book? The Walking Dead was never about Horror. The books is about the horrors of life and how people react to this kind of environment after a zombie outbreak. The zombie are not the most dangerous thing out there and thats what the book and now the show are all about.
