"You know what I love? I love the zombie [with the] axe through the head," Hurd told MTV News. "That's one of my favorites."

"The axe through the head is good," agreed Darabont. "I'm particularly fond of Daryl, [played by] Norman Reedus, firing the arrow into the eye of the severed zombie head. That's good.

"That's particularly fun," added Hurd.

"You have to damage the brain," explained Darabont. "You can't just cut the head off. There's a head that's on the ground that's still moving and he decides to finish it off in inimitable Daryl fashion — with his crossbow."

Zombie kill of the week goes to.....
Well my top 5 at least is as follows,
5..DAWN OF THE DEAD - screwdriver in the ear.
4..ZOMBIE - underwater zombie takes on a shark.
3..ZOMBIELAND - Sorry sister Cynthia Knickerbocker not kill of the week i liked Tallahassee kill better with the bell and shotgun.
2..EVIL DEAD ARMY OF DARKNESS - Ash mounts propeller blades on the front of his Oldsmobile and takes a spin through the crowd of deadites
1..BRAINDEAD aka (DEAD ALIVE) in the USA - the lawnmower scene, while Lionel is busy using a strap on lawnmower to cut down the zombies his girlfriend is using the blender to help get rid of the bits and pieces.

I just got done watching the leaked pilot (couldn't resist) and as someone who has read all the books (so far) and loved them it did not disappoint at all. Andrew Lincoln seems like he is going to do a great job as Rick, and Lennie James was so amazing as Morgan, that im a little sad that we won't see him again for a while. I'm sure they're not going to hold perfectly to the story, but 2 thumbs up so far.

guys,if you love zombie films check out DEAD SNOW,THE HORDE & when it finally gets released THE DEAD & THE DAMMED.

i've always been a fan of the classic RE-ANIMATOR.

can't wait for this show it airs in the uk 5.11.10 on fx.
