THE WALKING DEAD Scores A Huge 10.5 Million Viewers During Its Mid-Season Finale

The Walking Dead rolled out its mid-season finale last night will all the twists and turns it didn't disappoint either. The show was looking to capitalize on momentum that they have gotten since the last year's season two performance. Season two debuted and a respectable 7.3 million viewer ship with the mid-season finale coming in slightly lower at 6.6. The Third season of the show opened with even better numbers raking in 10.9 million viewers. We had seen a lot of promos and teasers for last night's mid-season finale, and it seems to have paid off for the crew over at AMC. Last night's episode, according to THR, drew 10.5 Million viewers. While that is slightly down from the season premiere it is a 58% bump from the season two mid-way finale.

Lot's of questions are still hovering around after last night's episode, but will sure to be answered when the show comes back. Rick and the gang are surely in for a wild finale eight episodes when the show makes its triumphant return this coming February. Love this show, it has to be one of my favorites of all time just based on how I'm actually sitting on the edge of my seat the whole episode. All the acting is great to which leads to a great show. Not too many shows I'd buy on Blu Ray but this is one.

Breaking bad hands down but second place for me is sons of anarchy then dexter then the walking dead. Reason being I already know everything that's going to happen in the walking dead.

I love this show, and it can be so stupid and ridiculous sometimes but strangely I love it even more for those cliche and stupid moments.

Ricks accent for one, LMAO is the funniest thing in a while.

So glad to see the Governor getting what's coming to him. Michonne seems to be the only character with brains and balls this season.

@Maximus... That's the dumbest thing I've seen anyone say, I've read all the comics and so has everyone else who's a nerd.. And they follow nowhere near the same storyline.. Plot points, roughly but still so much different.. Like I said, that's dumb. But I do agree on BB, it's SICK! probably a tie between the two

Haha so true Dion. The fact that they have to stick to the 'only one black guy' cliche is about the only thing that disapoints me with this show. Otherwise its fantastic.

10.5 Million viewers! Holy shite! Take not Hollywood and television industries... this proves that quality does equal success.
