First trailer was already one of the best movies of the year. So goated. Very excited to double bill this with Dune 2

@Cap1 - Only issue with Dune double bill is that I’m pretty sure this’ll lose IMAX by the time that rolls around

Can't wait, Scorsese has been my favorite filmmaker for the past 15 years, since I saw Taxi Driver for the first time.

Amazing that he's able to do $200 million movies at 80 years old without ever making a movie that has crossed $400 million. Especially since, as friggen nerds will likely point out...

@MotherGooseUPus - take it you didn't watch the trailer which ends with 'exclusively in theatres'. It's playing in iMAX too

@MotherGooseUPus

AppleTV is probably the cheapest streamer. You could pay $5 for a month, watch the movie, and unsubscribe. Or you can see it in theaters when it comes out.

@MotherGooseUPus - lol no worries I didn’t have to say it as condescendingly as I did on reflection. Apple’s giving it a full theatre run I think, which is great

Cinema.

Looks great. This is the first time in a long time where I had little to no interest in comic book movies, and only looking forward to other movies like this one, Dune, Mission Impossible, etc.

@IronMan616 - Dune and M:I aren't exactly high art compared to this.

@IronMan616 - couldn’t agree more. Not really interested in any comic book property that’s coming within the year, but there are some other films I am really looking forward too. Your list and Napoleon for example…

@CoHost - High art or not, looking forward to them more than any comic book movie coming out or announced. Deadpool is the only one I'm going to the theater for until I see something about Avengers Secret Wars. At this point, I'm pretty much done with comic book movies. Hawkeye and Werewolf by Night were the D+ shows I watched, nothing else interested me.

“We were around when the Western died and there will be a time when the superhero movie goes the way of the Western. It doesn’t mean there won’t be another occasion where the Western comes back and the superhero movie someday returns.”

@GeneralZod - CBMs are not westerns. There's a huge difference between them. One is cheaper to make and has more storytelling opportunities. The other is more expensive and is limited by its vfx.
