First Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and now Tommy (Collin Donnell)! And what about the fight choreography this episode from Stunt Coordinator James Bamford? One of the best episodes of the series yet in my opinion. But what do you think? Take the poll and discuss below.

DEADSHOT RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey) learn that Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe) is still alive and his next target is Malcom (John Barrowman). Malcom invites Tommy (Colin Donnell) to attend a benefit honoring Malcom for his work with Starling City but Tommy refuses to attend. Oliver encourages his friend to mend his relationship with his father while he can. Meanwhile, Oliver struggles to balance his new relationship with McKenna [Janina Gavankar] and his duties as Arrow. Katie Cassidy, Paul Blackthorne and Susanna Thompson also star. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Geoff Johns (##116).

Up until Ollie's fight with White it was great but after that it went in to many directions. Malcolm allows Tommy to see he's trained to kill and was about to reveal his ID as the Dark Archer.
Then Arrow reveals his to Tommy.
But the last scene of Dinah's Mom showing up at her door to say Sarah may be alive was like watching Young And The Restless.

I dont know who made those decisions and I doubt Johns had the authority to do that but some of the twists in the last few minutes, especially Dinah's soap opera at the end moment just got to be a bit silly.

It was really good until it went weird. Johns Smallville episodes were the same. Greatness mixed with zany. His "Legion" episode felt like Smallville meets Power Rangers. "Absolute Justice" was good at times but had a horrible, goofy villain unworthy to face so many heroes.

I hope he stays away from Arrow. Hes not a good TV writer.

One of the best episodes IMO. Felt a lot like the mid-season finale in terms of surprises.

As for Deadshot, I was expecting them to give him the mask, but he looked just like he did last time but with a Baleman accent.

It seams as if every parent in this show is beginning to apologize to their kids for their mistakes.

So I'm a little confused as to how Laurel's sister could possibly be alive . . . She drowned

Does anyone else the the possible parallel between the Merlins and Osborn's? Could Malcolm be killed and Tommy become Ollie's enemy to avenge his father's death?

Really getting even more interesting. Loved Deadshots new look, and thank god for the smaller eye peice. I'm kinda worried about Ollie, everyones going to know his secret by the end of this season.

Entertaining episode for sure. Loved dialog, and cant get enough of Deathsroke. Johns really knows how to write the characters.

I agree tho, the ending with Laurels mom felt like it should of been on one of my mothers "shows".

Nonetheless very fun episode!

@1geekygurl Ya I thought about that as well. I was thinking "please dont let tommy think arrow killed his dad, and take revenge on ollie with a hover snowboard"
GuardianAngel

Could also mean Deadman, though I doubt they could make a more grounded version of him.

@GuardianAngel Cant do Deadman because he'd find out hes really alive.

I am more psyched about the Nanda Parbat storyline than even the Deathstroke storyline. I hope it's Sensi because the Green Arrow Question Batman crossover is one of my favorite storylines. Please get Ken Wantabee to play Sensi and connect it to the Nolanverse.

This storyline can bring in Richard Dragon, Vic Sage, Boston Brand, Renee Montoya, and Diana Prince to appearing on the show. Tey all trained in Nanda. It has to be Sensi that trained Merlyn, as in the comics Merlyn is a member of the League of Assassins/Shadows.

Good episode up until.. Oliver unmasked to Tommy. Almost turned off the television when I saw that. No reason for that. Its only Season One. There shouldn't be this many people aware of his SECRET identity. I mean, jeez

Great episode. This show is so freakin great.

I got to disagree about showing his identity to people. We tend to get use to the idea of hiding your secret from everyone and I'm glad this show is not taking the route of dragging that out for as long as possible. They have taken different routes for this show and have done it well that people cannot see whats coming. The situation called for it.

I will love to hear this words from The Huntress while fighting Oliver: I've met someone like you, only he's tougher and scarier he throw me out of gotham

This show is great. Don't get all the hate on Oliver unmasking. I'd say that the timing calls for it. His father is sure to get killed by Arrow at the end of the season so Tommy is going to try to take revenge on Oliver by getting trained by the same people who trained his father.

Also I've been suspecting Sarah never died. I wonder if she will turn up that she is actually another villain that they haven't revealed yet. Think about it. If she did live, she would be alone on that island. How would that island effect her, especially if she met some different people than Oliver.

Can't wait for the next episode already! Also have you guys noticed, this show is getting some pretty good response from even non fan boys. Which is a very good sign.

Good show. Always a little wary when Johns scripts a show, bug this episode of Arrow was a solid effort. I didn't care for him unmasking to Tommy. Great easter eggs and references tl the DC universe.

I gotta give it to them this was my favorite episode this season. Geoff Johns is a brilliant writer!
Honestly if they had cast at the beginning the way they are casting now I think we would have a very different show.
I can't wait for the next episode as it seems that my favorite character Huntress is coming back!!!
I wonder who trained Merlyn... it would be so cool if it was Ras Al Ghul or something.
I want them to bring Count Vertigo back fully recovered and now immune to the effects of the drug. Why not have him rehabilitated by a genius scientist like Hugo Strange or Lex Luther? They don't have to make appearances themselves but have which ever one suits best be referred to whenever Oliver investigates Vertigo's return.
Also it would be really interesting if Oliver somehow found out about the JSA and how they were the first to challenge the Undertaking. We could have him track down Rex Tyler the original Hourman and get addicted to the Miraclo drug even though it's killing him the more he uses it! It would be incredible if it's side effects were similar to the drug in the movie "Limitless".

Good episode. I'm starting to think that maybe too many people know his identity now but I can live with it.
