ARROW: It's Brother vs. Sister In The New Promo For The Season 7 Finale: "You Have Saved This City"

It's the beginning of the end, as next week's Arrow season finale will likely offer a sneak preview of what's to come for Oliver Queen and company in their upcoming eighth and final season this fall...

Next week's season seven finale of Arrow will finally see the Emerald Archer (Stephen Amell) face-off against his half-sister Emiko (Sea Shimooka), and it sounds like forgiveness may no longer be on the table as the two engage in a fight to the death.

The episode synopsis also teases the return of a number of familiar faces, and while there's no word on exactly who we might see, the promo does confirm that Black Siren (Katie Cassidy) will be back for the final showdown.

Plus, the next episode will mark the last appearance of series regular Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak and could actually be her final appearance in the entire Berlantiverse - unless, of course, she decides to return for the series finale this fall.

"You Have Saved This City" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

FAMILY TIES - The battle between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Emiko (Sea Shimooka) comes to a boiling point which brings back some familiar faces and leaves others in dire jeopardy. James Bamford directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Rebecca Bellotto (#722). Original airdate 5/13/2019.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, former protégé Roy Harper, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, forcing him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

Arrow features:

I haven't watched last night's episode, but these days I feel like there's nothing to spoil when watching these promos, which is a bad thing. The overall plot has become VERY bland. CW DC really needs to step up it's game.

I've really struggled to make it through this season. But Felicity's last episode will make it all worth it.

God this was such a stupid episode. How many times are we going to see Oliver struggle between wanting and not wanting to kill someone? This is getting old.

And what the balls was even the point of letting Emiko go at the end? I get he didn't want to kill her, but damn it you can at least shoot her in the leg or something.

@RageDriver2401 - I've been an advocate of Arrow and Flash, but both have failed me now. I still watch out of habit/duty, but I think it's definitely time for them to go. This past season doesn't even seem to be Oliver focused. I think they screwed the pooch with the Olicity crap. Just became a bad drama after that. I REALLY like Stephen Amell, but it's time. With Flash, the only people I seem to like are Dr. Wells/Sherlock and Elongated Man. Again, too much drama. I'll say it for the millionth time...way too many episodes in a season. Cut it to 12-13 and get a more concise story. The overacting of the villains also kills me.

@TheDoctor1225- so far this week (still need to see Flash)

1. Arrow (good)
2. Supergirl (solid)
3. Legends (decent)

Belated review but never too late.

Tommy might be dead but Colin Donnell and Stephen Amell can still carry a scene together like if it was yesterday and it was Season 1. The interaction looked so real for a moment it made me think he might actually be alive. With some Lazarus Pits still around, who knows.

Roy giving everyone a heart attack with that daredevil move to turn off the poisonous gas that makes you forget he still makes it to the future. No wonder he ends up going to Lian Yu in order to avoid being framed, even more with his volatile bloodlust.

For the first time I was on Mia's side in wanting to punch the lights out of future!Alena for being the selfish dumbass that sold the Archer program that leads to the entire mess in the future. I expect all hell to break loose in the flashforwards now that they've captured William.

Emiko didn't kill a pregnant woman, there's still a glimmer of hope then. After all Oliver did let bygones be bygones with Slade so for someone that was done dirty and shamelessly by his father, it's the least Emiko deserves.
