ARROW: Laurel Comes To Oliver's Rescue In The New Promo For Season 7, Episode 6: "Due Process"

Despite Arrow destroying the iconic Green Arrow/Black Canary relationship, it looks like Earth-2's Laurel still has a soft spot for Oliver Queen and next week, she'll do everything she can to free him.

While Earth-2's Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) may not exactly be Oliver Queen's (Stephen Amell) favorite person, it looks like she may be his only hope in finding a way to get out of Slabside legally - though it sounds like that may be much easier said than done.

Meanwhile, Oliver has another issue as as he must race against the clock to solve a prison murder and clear his own name before he's stuck behind bars for the foreseeable future.

"Due Process" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

LAUREL STEPS IN TO HELP OLIVER - Slabside becomes even more dangerous after a guard is murdered and everyone is a suspect. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) enlists help from a surprising source in her pursuit of Diaz (Kirk Acevedo), and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) flexes her muscles as the District Attorney. Kristin Windell directed the episode written by Sarah Tarkhoff & Tonya Kong (#706). Original airdate 11/19/2018.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, former protégé Roy Harper, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. Oliver will find himself vulnerable in a way unlike ever before when a mysterious new enemy begins to unravel his work as Green Arrow, forcing him to redeem his name or risk losing everything.

@HeavyMetal4Life @whynot - Yeah, it seems the people behind Arrow paid attention to how people felt about the people behind The Flash squandering whatever story potential there was for a Flashpoint mini-arc.

TALIA!!!

What a welcome surprise to see Talia return, a huge "holy fck" moment from me. I had a feeling The Demon was either Talia or Malcolm, so glad to see I was right. (And Malcolm is returning at some point later this season, looking forward to that!). Talia was awesome, every scene she was in was excellent and I really hope we get to see her show up down the road again (was kind of hoping for an in person moment between her and Felicity). Her and Oliver teaming up to take out the level two guards... what a thing of beauty. So freaking badass, that has got to be the best fight of the season so far. Can't wait to watch that again. I loved the whole level two aspect of the prison, kind of wish we had another episode there. The evil Doctor, while short lived, was a nice addition to the season and he was played well. Also, Talia namedropped Gotham, saying she had run afoul over there. Wonder if we could see Talia appear on Batwoman??

Felicity and Black Siren working together is really fun to watch. Laughed when Felicity told Dinah she and Laurel had started a support group for women attacked by Diaz. This plot line was strong in this episode as well. And Diaz showing up at the end with Anatoly, didn't quite expect that. Very interested to see where that leads.

The Curtis/Diggle stuff wasn't quite as strong as the rest, but it was written fairly well and had a bit of weight. I thought they portrayed Curtis' difficulty with being in the field well, and brought a really satisfactory conclusion to that issue. His briefcase gun scene was pretty neat I have to say.

Probably a lot more I'm forgetting, but all around another very strong episode from Arrow this week! And next week looks very good too.

Good episode, plot is moving all around.

Talia turning out to be the Demon was a good reveal, there was always that notion that with a codename like that the likelyhood of an Ghul family member being involved was in there so Talia fitted. And since Elseworlds is coming with Batwoman's introduction they laid down another Gotham namedrop as being the reason why she ended up in prison after "running against an old foe. The drug she's using to sustaint her injuries could be the same one Diggle used earlier in S6 from Diaz.

They made a good callback to S3.

Their prison hallway fight was cool against the guards, best part was with Oliver using the chains. And while now they have evidence from the doctor's flashdrive to prepare an argument to get Oliver out, I don't think it was a good idea to have Talia kill the doctor.

Curtis' undercover subplot was sufficient, the climax at the ending was solid. I missed this side of him, the cocky but confident Mr. Terrific from S5 when he faced against Vigilante. He needs more writing like that. And all of the ARGUS plot is leading to a mysterious old painting. This new mystery made up for the fact of not having this week the flashforwards.

E2 Laurel, Dinah and Felicity scenes were okay, just wished the latter relaxed a bit because she doesn't achieve much when she starts to panic which happens a lot. But I found it funny she crediting the dirt they got from Talia on them when it was actually thanks to Oliver and Talia, but whatever.

Diaz has been kicking names and taking ass in Moscow all to get his hands on Anatoly. I wonder what happens next and what he wants from him. I'd like to see him engange in combat with the New GA to see what he can do now in actual footage and not just punch walls. Maybe they're saving it for the mid-Season finale.

Curtis really did pull a "Breaking Bad finale" move on those people with the hidden little machine gun in the briefcase, sweet. More stuff like that please writers.

SPOILER AHEAD!!!!

I so hope that the flash forward where William is told that Felicity is dead is not a false flag and that Felicity will die (in an honorable way of course), so Barry can wind up either with Laurel or Dinah.

Loved the Gotham reference. I think it was referencing Batman because I feel like Batwoman takes place on an actual elseworld. Also, why can't we get a damn BatMAN show. DC should just give the fans what they want. I don't know how they could do Batwoman set in Gotham without addressing Batman and family's absence.

Also, they should be doing every show possible whether it be on CW or DC Universe. Batman show set in Titans universe? Please Please Please. That could be an ideal spot for a Tyler Hoechlin Superman show if the CW is concerened about taking supergirl's thunder.

DC Universe should be putting everything possible into production since the DC film universe is dead. Just don't let Zack Snyder anywhere near it.
