ARROW: Oliver Finds Himself In A Sticky Situation In The New Promo For Season 6, Episode 2: "Tribute"

Arrow returned tonight and as expected, everyone you thought would die, died, while the rest escaped with mostly psychological scars. Come check out the new promo for next week's installment now!

After months of teasing a worthwhile premiere, Arrow returned in predictable fashion as practically everyone survived Adrian Chase's explosive present, save for the ill-fated Samantha, who was the episode's only casualty, and Thea, who was left comatose by hour's end.

While that was plenty to process, the episode ended with another twist as the Green Arrow was unmasked to the residents of Star City, which can mean nothing good for his day job. Next week, Oliver and company deal with the fallout while Anatoly also makes a return.

Check out the new promo for episode two, titled "Tribute," below:

"Tribute" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

ANATOLY RETURNS TO STAR CITY - Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to balance being the mayor, the Green Arrow and a father to William (guest star Jack Moore). Anatoly (guest star David Nykl) returns to Star City with a deadly agenda. Laura Belsey directed the episode with story by Adam Schwartz and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Beth Schwartz (#602). Original airdate 10/19/2017.

As the Green Arrow, Oliver Queen protects his home, Star City, with the help of former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, his Thea Queen, Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. In Season Six, Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past , including Black Siren, return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family.” With the team left hanging in the balance, the focus shifts to the fates of every member of Team Arrow!

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow

David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan

I'm not going to lie, after the phenomenal last season, this episodes was a pretty big disappointment. It wasn't terrible and had some good moments but it resolved the cliffhanger from last season WAY to easily, too much Katie Cassidy, and the actual plotting of what Black Siren after, how she was going about it, and how Team Arrow was trying to find her was really contrived and convoluted.

I don't want to sound too negative, so I'll say I like all the emotional arcs they were setting up in this season from Lance dealing with his daughter's doppleganger to Oliver trying to be a father, and Diggle dealing with with his shell shock/PTSD shit. I also liked Dinah's new costume.

I'm really not happy about Laurel's return to the show. It's no secret I dislike Katie Cassidy on the show and Black Siren just walks around with a saunter and smirk carved onto her face. Not really the most interesting range. I'm also not happy about the return of the Laurel action scenes. Terrible choreography when we can see Cassidy's face and just the back of Black Siren's head when her stunt woman takes over.

I'm sure the show will pick up again, especially once Deathstroke gets onto the scene.

This was a dope premiere episode. Probably the best one yet for the series. Arrow is off to a great start coming back off a great previous S5. Only thing I don't like is the we have revived the Oliver Queen is the vigilante again idea for the 3rd time. Hopefully this is something totally different and not retreading too much of old ground.

Weak ass premiere tbh...
The Flash one was way better, much simple, but still...
Only 2 things were interesting for me:
1) Slade Wilson (lol i love that guy)
2) aaand the f*ck is going on with Diggle?

Other than that, pretty mhe about everything...
Glad thaley didn't kill anybody important, especially Thea.
