Next week, The Dragon (Kirk Acevedo) takes aim at Oliver's (Stephen Amell) friends and family and it doesn't look like everyone's going to make it out of this one unscathed. Meanwhile, he'll also be having marital issues as he can't find a way to keep Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) from playing superhero and putting herself in the line of danger to stop Diaz once and for all.

DIAZ AIMS FOR TEAM ARROW AND THEIR FAMILIES - Diaz (guest star Kirk Acevedo) targets Team Arrow and their loved ones. Oliver (Stephen Amell) struggles with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) putting herself in danger when she gets the chance to stop Diaz for good. Tara Miele directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Oscar Balderrama (#622). Original airdate 5/10/2018.


After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. He returned home to Star City, bent on righting the wrongs done by his family and fighting injustice. As the Green Arrow, he protects his city with the help of Team Arrow with former soldier John Diggle, computer-science expert Felicity Smoak, his vigilante-trained sister Thea Queen, Deputy Mayor Quentin Lance, brilliant inventor Curtis Holt, and his new recruits, street-savvy Rene Ramirez and meta-human Dinah Drake. Oliver has finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team only to have it threatened when unexpected enemies from his past return to Star City, forcing Oliver to rethink his relationship with each member of his “family”.

Nice episode for a trial.

But Oliver has gone up against worse, c'mon writers. Diaz is nothing.

At least they will make it a bit worthwhile.

That was a really good episode. Renee really won me over with both of their acknowledgment that the y both messed up. ( more so Renee in my opinion). I think Diaz is so formidable because he owns the whole freaking city. I don't remember any villain like that before. However i could be wrong.

Also, that opening sequence in Kasnia was clearly filmed at the same spot as the JSA fight sequence in Legends season 2, and probably where they filmed the fight in season 3 in Amaya's homeland against Mallus.
