With present day Team Arrow finally learning the truth about future Star City and subsequently making a vow to prevent the darkest timeline from ever happening, the next episode will see the old and new teams partnering up on a time sensitive mission to Russia in order to gather the necessary tools to stop The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett).

In related news, TV Line has confirmed that former series regular Paul Blackthorne will reprise his role as Quentin Lance for multiple episodes in the latter half of this season, including the January series finale.

With only five episodes remaining, there seems to be a strong possibility he may appear in the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover as well, but that has yet-to-be confirmed.

"Prochnost" - (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, V) (HDTV)

DON'T LET YOUR PAST DEFINE YOU - Upon learning the key to oppose The Monitor (guest star LaMonica Garrett), Oliver (Stephen Amell) and team return to Russia on a mission to gather the necessary materials. Diggle (David Ramsey) reunites with a figure from his past. Laura Belsey directed the episode written by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes (#805). Original airdate 11/19/2019.

@WarNoodle - Lasted longer than any marvel show. (and unlike the marvel shows that went down hill, Arrow actually recovered)

A good episode tonight, though I didn't think it was quite as strong as the last three. The middle part of the episode wasn't quite as strong as the beginning and definitely not as strong as the end.

The opening scene, continuing from last week's big WTF cliffhanger was great. The reactions of everyone, especially Oliver, were great. I loved the interactions William and Connor had with the others tonight. One of the best scenes tonight was Oliver's sit down with William in their old apartment; it was a lovely scene between those two, lots of emotion. I can see why Amell called this a favorite scene of his, and the joke about "she must get it from Felicity" was great. Connor's scenes with Dig were well done too, Connor's a good guy and I like how Dig accepted him as his son by the end.

On the other hand, I really hated Mia for much of this episode, the first time I've actually disliked her entirely. Found her attitude towards Oliver (who as always was the more mature and wise individual) to be rude, disrespectful, harsh and forced. Too much angst, too much brooding. Yes, she had a bunch of sense knocked into her by the end of the episode and she did wake up. I do hope that her time with Oliver will help shed these rough edges of her.

Nice to see Grant Wilson again, did we last see him in season 6?? The last 10 minutes though were very good, some really nice action and character moments/character pairings. And I liked how the OG team began to act on info about the future and change (or at least try to) their destinies. Nice to see Curtis again too, though he can be "a lot" at times, lol.

Quite surprised that The Monitor can supposedly bring Earth 2 back. Wonder what Laurel will have to do. Also, didn't expect Laurel to trash talk Oliver so much after all he has done for her and all they have been through together.

Glad to see that we will have more bonding time with the current and future characters going forward

@HeavyMetal4Life - We saw Joe Wilson in season 7. This is the first time we have seen Grant on Arrow. We saw him last in Legends Of Tomorrow season 1

Alright so this is the episode that has me interested in the spin-off now. All the future characters worked so well with the present day. And I honestly didnt think I'd react to William coming out to his dad the way he did.

This season has been so great for longtime fans.
