After seven weeks behind bars, next week, the real Emerald Archer (Stephen Amell) returns to his crime-fighting ways, which means Star City will be at least a little bit safer moving forward. However, it seems as though the Green Arrow that went into prison won't be the same hero we're reintroduced to next week as Amell teases that Oliver will have a whole new perspective on the superhero life when he returns to action.

Meanwhile,
Felcity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) will defend her most recent batch of controversial decisions while Diggle (David Ramsey) & Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) will continue their investigation of the Dante painting Curtis (Echo Kellum) recovered.

After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the North China Sea. This has been a great season so far. Excited to see where it's going. They handled the prison story line well. In my view, the characters all got more interesting because of it. Keep it up!

This episode felt like the midseason finale, it was just that good and intense. Diaz looked like he was still clinging to life but I don't think he'll be back. Bronze Tiger was great and I'm hoping he becomes more of a mainstay, either as an ARGUS operative or as part of Team Arrow.

I'm hoping Stanley won't be the big bad of the season, he is not really that threatening at all. Hopefully the Longbow Hunters make short work of him.

Honestly one of the best episodes since Season 2. I loved that they focused solely on the prison. Lets hope they can keep this momentum going.

You can tell this was a James Bamford directed episode due to all of the dynamic and shaky camera the moment the action starts.

Episode was good to end the Slabside prison arc, fight sequences delivered specially when it came to Broze Tiger and Oliver teaming up half-way through the episode. Bronze Tiger sure doesn't skip leg day because that was what he mostly used to dispatch of all the prisoners.

I couldn't understand much what was that Diaz told Oliver during the payphone visit due to Kirk Acevedo always talking in a whisper-esque voice but I liked the ending with Oliver furiously smashing and cracking the glass with the phone as a response.

RIP Sampson, unless he actually survived being burned alive and falling from the 2nd floor in the cafeteria, doubtful. When Oliver began to hit everyone with a bag full of cans I remembered Stephen Amell saying on Twitter there would be some "pillow" fight" so I guess that was it.

Going back to Green Arrow and Bronze Tiger team up the latter telling the former that now he's able to see shades in grey with the bad guys should shape his return as GA. I wonder how long till he can move threads with Diggle and Lyla to release him, thought for a moment he would use the chance to escape too with all the chaos with Oliver but he stayed once it was all over.

Stanley, well, he is crazy and psychopathic and can use his short heigh to his favour like when he caught Oliver by surprise to sedate him. I wonder what is next for him after killing Brick and escaping through the same morgue exit that Talia did. I think he is a mystery thread in the present due to not knowing much about him besides that part where he snapped and admitted the murders he committed. Well Oliver said he'd make sure he paid once he got out before the riot, so I look forward to that.

As for Oliver vs Diaz in the end I'll chalk it up to him still recovering from being sedated to struggling against him because he didn't display any of that super strenght he acquired from that serum weeks ago. Dude's good with a knife though I'll give him that. But he's finished and locked behind bars, completing the deal E2 Laurel made.

I wished the ending had featured not just Diggle and Felicity waiting but Rene, Dinah, Curtis and E2 Laurel instead of making it an Olicity moment but it is what it is. But everyone on social media realised that as the camera panned out that Diggle pulled a Houdini lol.

Preview plus this interview shows that Oliver is not going to be wearing his domino mask. Well everyone knows who GA since S6 finale so it makes sense he's approaching it like "whatever" but it looks a bit off.

Now to focus on the New GA's identity, the flashforwards and whether or not the new bad guys are indeed the Ninth Circle, that's what excites me now.

(And now to go and post my belated Supergirl recap in the respective thread)

And I just realized by looking again at the preview and I feel very dumb about that it is called "Unmasked" not necessarily because we're going to find out who is the New GA but because Oliver is back as Green Arrow but without his mask that he's been using ever since S2 mid-Season finale.

I am such a slowpoke.
